I posted these heads a few pages ago, but finally got everything built up.  Titleist 690CB 4-PW.  I like lighter/softer flex graphite shafts, and came across a great deal on what were originally upcharge shafts for Titleist hybrids years ago, Kuro Kage Black Series 60HY.  Some were lightly used demo shafts, others were brand new.  Great grips too.  I've gotten really good at removing the hybrid adapters, as I've also built a bunch of irons up using Bassara hybrid shafts that came with the adapters.  6-7 seconds of heat, straight pull, and they are off.  I must have close to 100 Titleist hybrid adapters in a coffee can now.

 

These feel so good.  They are a cavity, but not a particularly large head overall.   And I really like the feel of the shafts.  I have a nice smooth LPGA/Oldman tempo, and I love a nice high launching trajectory.  7-iron shaft came in at 55.6g, and the set was easy to balance right at D3.0.  

 

Heads cleaned up well enough, and since all my builds are playing clubs at a local muni, I'm not super picky about perfect chrome or bag chatter.

Cobra Aerojet Max 5-wood, with Kai’li blue 60S shaft to match my driver. Felt very solid in the first range session, still dialing in the weight and loft settings. Thinking I will probably pick up the matching 3-wood eventually.

I’ve been playing a 9 degree TSR3 and have been curious about trying an 8 degree TSR2. I stopped by 2nd Swing today and plugged my driver shaft into this head. 
 

The numbers were good enough that I need to see it on the course.

Picked up a hybrid on the bay to test against my 2 iron and it came with this shaft installed.

 

Anyone able tell me what I got here? Can’t find any information online.

First impressions after a range and chipping session, I love this thing!  I’ve always lacked confidence in full swings with a 60*.  But center face strikes and amazing feel!  Around the green I could stop chips to short sided holes with little effort.  I need to try it in the sand still, but I’m impressed!

I've been thinking about the same thing - but one degree higher (going from 10* 3 to 9* 2) - let me know how it goes! A little more forgiveness but similar performance?

Loved the look of these when I bought my Hot metals 2 years back. My ball striking has improved significantly after taking lessons so I caved and bought the MP20 HMB. Super soft. Got a great deal on eBay, very happy with my purchase.

These Takomo 201 came yesterday. 

Almost thought they were "porch pirated" as the UPS notification said the box was dropped off at 1530 but wasn't there when I got home.  Of course, the delivery photo they took was useless as the background clearly showed they were still holding the box while crossing the sidewalk so I couldn't be sure if it was just misdelivered to the wrong address.  Which it was, as a neighbor brought it over later in the evening.  LOL.

 

The Axiom 105X shafts (not pictured) I'm going to use came a few weeks ago.

I played this morning. Try it. 
 

I ended up with it turned down to 7.25. It’s at least as long as the 3 but more forgiving. I hit a couple today that I thought were a problem… looked up and they were fine. I missed one fairway all day and it wasn’t by much. 
 

I will say it doesn’t sound or feel as good as the 3. It’s not bad, but I just ordered a lighter weight and will add some hot melt to hopefully make it better.

I traded in some stuff and took advantage of the TM 50% trade in bonus, and went and got me a qi10 tour 3 and a 5 wood.   I have had the 5W for a week, just picked up the 3W today.   And I just put a G430 Max 10K driver in the bag (got a "deal" on it as a 90 day return from Edwin Watts).    Can't believe I am spending almost $1,500 on the 3 clubs combined.  My entire bag didn't cost that much all that many years ago.....

Just ordered a $300 shaft and probably more excited for this 30 year old wedge.  Played this for a LONG time.  Been looking for a good one for 6 months.  Doesn't appear to have ever been played.

Awesome!! That was my high school sand wedge. The 485, the not as popular cousin of the 588.

It's been an interesting week, I'm calling it belated birthday presents to me week of purchases:

 

Found an excellent OG Sim as I've regretting selling mine around this time last year.  Fallen in love again!

 

The 243s were found at a local shop listed as demos - only the 7 iron had any sign of wear.  Reshafted with KBS Tour 130s I've been using a while.

 

The '24 Fli Hi is the first new in bag club I've bought since I replaced my wedges a couple year ago.  Had the '22 version but this one is just... better.  Reshafted with Tour AD 85X for now but I'm looking at other shafts for it.
