Came across some Sun Day Red socks at a store here in Canada called Dollarama, so had to scoop them up!

Chasing the game of my youth, I've gone and grabbed the irons I grew up playing with and shot my lowest round with.  Cleveland TA7 3-PW with DG Sensicore shafts and Royal Cord grips.

I couldn’t agree more! First thing I did was to rip off the grip and extend the shaft. Today I put on the new grip.. tribute to Scottie 😅 always used to play super stroke pistol 1.0 but this grip feels awesome.. when you hit this putter, wow! The sound is awesome and the feeling is like butter.

Couldn’t help myself. 90 day playability guarantee from PGASS means if I don’t like the stock version, I can have them order me a custom one that’s fit for me.

But, so far, it’s good on carpet. I still will game my 2.1, but I think the 3 has a place on some of the faster greens I play. I felt like I was able to put a more delicate touch on it. 
 

After some head to head I also have come around to say the DF3 has a better feel and sound, but this as the Accra shaft and my 2.1 is steel. 
 

I never mess with my putter - so this will be interesting. Decided to go with the green and white shaft. Going to look for weight kits or load it up with some lead tape.

Nice!  What size did you go with?  72cc, 81cc or 88cc?

They offer the 3 in multiple weighted configurations. If I were ordering custom I’d have gone with heavier head. I will discuss with them and again, if I don’t like it, I’ll return for a custom build. 
 

But, my 2.1 ain’t going anywhere so quick. I’ll roll a round with the 3 today to see how we’re doing.

I've been assimilated by the JDM borg.  The Bridgestone TS-202s were awesome, so why not step the game up and get some Miuras?  May I present the classic CB-2007s with Tour 120 stiff shafts?  Waiting on the new mid grips to dry and off to the driving range for some testing.  There may be some graphite shafts and custom ferrules in the near future.

 

(the smear on the 6 iron toe was new grip smegma.  Cleaned off with some denatured alcohol)

Played i230’s 3-UW for a while 
 

Bought a 3 hybrid, hit it well, made the change. 
 

Encouraged me to buy a 4 hybrid, hit it well, made the change. 
 

Why stop there I figure and today here we are. Now 3-7 hybrid with 70g stiff.

It's the most consistent my putting has been in a while. I hadn't tried a mallet with a plumbers neck in a long time.

 

I got a great deal on it. It was like $165 new from Callaway pre-owned with a generic headcover when everyone else still had them new at $199

They do have weights you can buy to add weight that way. I have same putter and did that.
