No problem. Just putting it out there that anytime you order the rogue black in an x, it's a delay.
Even the 80x for a fairway??
Yes. They stock the 70 and 80 Rogue black in regular and stiff, but need a little lead time for X. I ordered mine late last week. Checked today and they said the shafts should arrive on Monday for possibly a Wednesday ship. Not too bad.

Okay thanks for the heads up! I will need to place my order for my 16.5 soon then!

Well, I went a little nuts on the Titleist stuff. I had originally ordered a 915 FD with the Rogue Black X. This week, I ordered an 8.5 degree D3 with the Black 70X, The #2 HD with a Whiteboard 100 X, 714 MB irons with KBS Tour V, and a Staff Bag.

What have I done?!
What you've done is forgot the SM5's and Futura X5 to round out the bag! :)

The SM5's may have to go back in. I already carry a Golo dual balance

What about the Diamanas? Are the new plus series supposed to be manufactured in different places or all in China?
Diamanas are manufactured at an undisclosed underground factory in South Africa. Workers are stripped and cavity searched daily when leaving to prevent the possiblity of proprietary fibers falling to the hands of competitors.
Of course, classic Mitsubishi Salaryman manufacturing technique.

Honestly depends on the day. In Dallas, February temps range from teens to 70's, and that may be in the same week.. Last year we had a freeze that lasted a week (minimal snow here, it just rains and turns to ice) and then it was in the 60's 2 days later.

.Austin is not as cold though, temps should be more consistently around 40-50, up to a high around 60

OD if your lookin to drive from GR we shouldn't have snow in A2. I'll kick myself afterwards but I'd tee it up.
I'm watching the weather. There will be no golf in Grand Rapids. I just wonder how far south I would have to go to hit 50 degrees. I could leave at 4am :)
You'd need to go pretty far. It's 30* here in Dallas today.

Whats it like in TX in February?? planning group trip to Barton Creek....

Got fitted last month in Oceanside, surprising the Aldila 75 Green X were used for both my driver and three metal....both tipped one inch as well...not had this combination in shafts between these two clubs before normally my three metal is slightly heavier.

Spoke to Aldila about the 125 MSI Rogue. They said every 125 MSI shaft is produced in the USA. I specifically asked him about the 125 MSI, 60 gram, TS flex shaft and if I ordered it through Titleist. He said I will get a shaft that says made in the USA.

I think I'm the only one that prefers the Diamana shafts. I get similar numbers to Rogue with better feel.

As we discussed offline, I'm right there with you. Diamana Blue in the woods and Diamana White in the driver.

You are not alone. I have yet to hit a Aldila shaft I like, and I've tried them all except for the tour green and blue. They never seem to perform as well for me as other options. One of these days hopefully.... I really do want to like their products.

I'm not going to pull the grip off mine to look at the label, but there is definitely no USA stamp below the grip on them.

Wondering what the upcharge is for that shaft. I'm pretty sure I read in this thread the other day that it is $200 but want to confirm. Also, what are going to be the differences between it and the 110 MSI version?

Upcharge prices are determined by your retailer and not under map pricing. You should be able to buy the 125msi, 60 TS for $125. $200 is over priced.

I just picked up my D3 with a 125 MSI 70 TX today. I don't plan on pulling off the grip but the sticker that Titleist places on the shaft definitely said Vietnam.

Titleist charges $119 for their stock shaft offerings as replacements. A retailer is not going to be able to order a shaft that's considered off-menu like the 125msi for $6 more.

That's how much the 125msi 60 TS would have cost me. $125 according to my pro shop guy who called Titleist. I called Titleist to ask the price and they said they can't give me quite because retailers can charge whatever. He said to shop around. I found two places that will sell the 125msi for $125 upcharge. One is a sponsor here and the other is my hometown small time proshop.

This is spot on. I paid an $125 up charge for mine through my local shop. A lot of shops only charge cost for the upgrade on custom orders. It's just always best to shop around to be sure.

Does the 125msi come in TS (Tour Stiff)? I thought it was only TX (Tour Extra Stiff). Anyone know for sure?
It comes in a wide variety of weights and flexes. Look at Aldila's site. Titleist calls the weights/flexes not listed on their own site "off menu" items. Just because Titleist.com diesn't show a shaft doesn't mean Titleist won't order it. Off menu shafts do take an extra four weeks though.

I was so close to ordering the 125msi 60 gram TS, but both Aldila and Titleist said there is no difference between the 125 and 110 as far as Bend point, LA, etc. i thiught for sure Aldila would say the 125msi was different in some way, but they wouldn't. I did finally get titleist to say the 125msi will feel atiffer during you transition by a hair. Also, not the 125msi has a bigger butt diameter and is four grams lighter.
I ended up saving the $125 because i could only demo the 110msi and found it to be great, and I'm not sure a slightly stiffer feeling shaft is even something I want.

I thought you were referring to just the shaft and not the entire club in which case $125 is spot on. Again, you can order any shaft you want from Titleist, doesn't have to be part of a whole club.

Glad you found a shaft that works well for you and saved a few dollars in the process!

Finally saw the entire 915 line. My eye was definitely caught by the FD and HD, the compact heads were much better looking. I have a 8.5 D3 on the way with a Fuji Pro TS 63 X in waiting. I'm wondering about the FD/HD though, has anyone had some time with them? It's a little cold here in NYC, so trying clubs is a waste of time. Just looking for solid opinions.
