Spoke to Aldila about the 125 MSI Rogue. They said every 125 MSI shaft is produced in the USA. I specifically asked him about the 125 MSI, 60 gram, TS flex shaft and if I ordered it through Titleist. He said I will get a shaft that says made in the USA.
I just picked up my D3 with a 125 MSI 70 TX today. I don't plan on pulling off the grip but the sticker that Titleist places on the shaft definitely said Vietnam.
Aldila or Titleist need to get their stories right.

I agree with you. In the end I think the answer will be...... The 125 MSI is a limited edition tour shaft. The Vietnam shaft is the mass produced retail version. I think any first run proto/tour design will have a tighter production standard in limited quantities for testing. Once it goes mainstream you will lose some tolerances due to mass production, but the specs will ultimately adhere to original design. I guess in the end all that matters is if the shaft fits you.

I will say that it was not a shaft on my radar at all. I heard great things about the ones on tour. That being said I was really interested in trying the new 915 driver, I had envisioned trying it with another Elements Chrome shaft as I like it very much in my SLDR. Well I was very impressed with the Rogue shaft in the 915, the combo was lower spin, longer by a few yards and better dispersion than my SLDR. It now resides comfortably in the as the 915 D3 with 110 60X is working great. I do want to try the 70X to compare but it really is a great shaft. Just my experience and .02

I'm looking to pick up a 915d2 in the near future and I'm just waiting for the right deal to come along. I'll be going with the Rogue Silver or Black in stiff flex depending on what performs best next time I test it but I'm leaning towards the Black.
In a basic 'fitting' I went through the 915d2 outperformed my current driver (Bio Cell) in both distance and dispersion by a small amount. It was also on par with the Alpha 815 I tried but I prefer the Titleist overall.

For some people yes the black or silver will be the ideal shaft and actually be a benefit to their golf game. However, I would absolutely love to see the statistic of people choosing a Rogue for the name even though it might not be the ideal shaft for them. Personally have hit the 125 TX and to me it's just blah. Trackman numbers on my Tour AD BB & DI 7x smoke it in every way, but again that's just my experience.

I do not know if anyone else has noticed this, but as I look at all the "New Releases" in terms of drivers, whether it be Titleist, Callaway, or TaylorMade, I have noticed a theme developing....

EVERY ONE OF THEM HAS A NEARLY IDENTICAL BLACK/RED/SILVER PAINT SCHEME!!!!

Am I the only one that is turned off by this overwhelming trend? Personally, I like to be able to easily distinguish between different model drivers. I just see no purpose in having everything being homogenized! It's not that I don't like the scheme, but come on now. A little originality never hurt anyone....

I saw the new 915D3 at my local course, and they look awesome. I am amazed how Titleist churns out such great looking clubs. I have the 913FD 15* in the bag, and have been searching for a 913D3 at a reasonable price to replace my current driver setup. Seems that people know what they have, and don't want to let go of them.

Was surprised too. Initially compared old and new D+, then improved with Rogue Silver, then was getting even better numbers with Rogue Black.

Peak height was similar across the options, what was different was how they reached that peak height.

I'll be honest; before I demoe'd the 915 the first week of October at my club outside on a Trackman I had never even heard of the Rogue, or any of the hype around it. It flat out blew my R1 / Oban Devotion combo away. I tried about 6 different shaft combos (stock Diamanas, Oban Devotion, ADDI, Rogue black. etc) in the D2 and D3 and settled on the one that gave me the best numbers and tightest dispersion. The dispersion is what really blew me away. I didn't hit the 125 MSI so I can't speak to that "hype".

Finally got my D3 in, rogue silver 110 MSI 60X. Coming from a cobra bio cell with AD-DI 6X, absolutely blows it out of the water. Have not put it on a launch monitor but can just tell from the way the ball stays in the air instead of dropping like a balloon, the spin difference is huge. Very happy with it so far! Now have a 915 F 16.5 with Rogue black 80X on the way and will soon have a 915 H with whiteboard 105X on the way

So would it be fair to say a rouge black in a 3w would be a fair transition from a silver in the driver? First time I plan on buying new woods in 4 years so I'm trying to get as much info as possible. I am more concerned with the 3w shaft bc I could alway us my current driver shaft in the 915 head.

I think that's what a lot of folks are doing, I'm going from 6 silver to 8 black

Finally had a chance to hit the 915 (D3) tonight to compare against my current 910 (D3) on trackman.
910D3 (D4 - 10.25 deg) with Proforce V2 shaft (76 gms stiff) vs 915D3 (A1 - 9.5 deg) with rogue silver 110 MSI 60X.
Distance gain was minimal at best. Keep in mind this wasn't a fitting & the pro mentioned he'd like to see me hit a heavier shaft. More worrying was that my swing speed on both drivers was down around 104 mph where the last time I got fit it was around 107-109. 7 iron swing speed around 90 mph. Smash factor on all clubs was really good so the pro knows there's something weird going on with my driver swing at the moment. Both drivers carrying around 250 metres (273 yards).
Anyway, though I didn't really see enough distance gain with the 915D3 with rogue silver 110 MSI 60X to justify a purchase for distance, I would have bought it immediately because the dispersion was incredible! Bad swings deviated very little & distance loss was minor. I hit one really low with the 915 & it still carried further than it should have.
I'll be heading back for a proper fitting & hopefully the right shaft may squeeze a little more distance out (though I'm not sure how much distance is possible at my swing speed).

^^^ 104 and 273 carry, you've probably squeezed out all you can but the dispersion sounds awesome for you. It's surprising to me you hit it straighter with a lighter shaft and the pro force to me has always been more of an accuracy shaft than distance. Maybe it was the difference in heads between the 910-915.

Didn't get to hit these, but I saw them in person and really like the rounder shape of both heads. The traditionalists might not like Titleist moving away from the pear-shape, but as someone who likes a more symmetrical looking footprint, these looked really good behind the ball to me.

I've had three good players hit D2's on trackman for me while I wait for my ribs to heal. It was money for two of them across all numbers, the other not so much. Kind of consistent with what we read on here. AoA and shaft seemed to be the difference, I saw 285 out of a 100 mph swing, 297 out of 106 and 280 out of 111..... hmmm
