Does anyone know if the weight kits for the 915 series are available to purchase yet?
I am pretty sure the weights are the same as 913..... I think it is somewhere in this thread but a local pro told me they were but I took it with a grain of salt as I asked the same thing.

I'm as big a fan of "square peg round hole" as the next guy, but...

I don't go into the pro shops much anymore, and did so yesterday. Picked up a Titleist driver. Took a look from the address end of things.
Thought to myself: "Ooh, I like what they did to the D2's shape this time." Flip it over? ----> 915D3.
No wonder I'm seeing so many D3's on here.
Nice looking head.

There are obvious differences in the shape of the D2 v. D3, but I think the footprint is closer in the 915 series than any other before it.
The 915D3 was the first one I picked up, and as a current 913D2 owner, I thought I had picked up the D2. The showroom lights kind of cast a glare off the plastic on the head, so I didn't see it was a D3 until I looked twice thinking it was the new D2.

I think the 915D3 looks closest to the 913D2, but the main reason I am interested in the D3 vs. the D2 is less draw bias.

I agree, I love the closer to pear shape the D3 had, and wanted it.. but the D2 kept outperforming it with my swing when I was fitted so I had to go with D2 for this kind of investment. I was never impressed with 907, 910 or 913 personally, so stayed with the 909. 915 is the real deal.

I think the D2 is getting akin to the G30 in front to back dimension. I'd go with the one I hit best too, but looking down, that D3 looked a lot more pleasing to my eye. That new alignement aid could be for a completely new brand. Totally unrecognizable as a Titleist to me.

I love my 915 D3 9.5*. I swing 108-110 mph but I can stretch it too 117mph. I am coming from an SLDR so sound wise doesn't bother me but I finally have a more forgiving driver that spins under 2800 rpm. I love the feeling of the Diamana whiteboard and that was the best shaft for me. The fuel was a close second but I didn't like the Rogue Silver or Black.

Think I finally made a decision to go with 915 d2 with rogue black regular 60. I'm keeping my 913d2 as I have a second bag at our holiday home which currently has the ad di6 sr shaft. I haven't hit the 60 regular only the 70 regular but the ad di6 and rogue black were achieving similar outcomes in the 915 head. I may loft down a little but better for me than lofting up as Ive been fighting the left side of the course for a year. Good news starting to feel more confident in my swing.

Is it just me or is the 915D2 head completely different than a 910D2? Seemed like when I was playing the 910 it didn't look that big? But I held the 915 and it looked like a G25...

The D3 is so effin pretty! I might take my R15 430 back and get the D3! The R15 was about 10 yards longer on middle shots but dropped off a bit when not. The D3, although shorter, was 265-275 carry no matter where I hit it. And that's fabulous for my mortal swing.

R15 a little longer for me too but Titleist more consistent. Just can't get over the sound of the D3. The D2 just seemed way more powerful when I hit it compared to the D3. Might need to mess with some different shafts.

The weight plug on the sole of the driver. It was a long process but we'll worth the hassle. I'm very pleased with the outcome. It feels like my 915F now.

Do you just twist them up and sort of feed them in the port? Sorry if that sounds dumb, just never tried it but I'm interested. Thx.

That's a good idea. I was going to get my 915 hotmelted but might try the cotton ball idea first.

What size cotton balls are you using?? 12 seems like wayyyy to much and would effect performance. I put 4 in my old bio cell and the head felt so heavy and dead I couldn't stand it, also when shaking the head around you could feel it moving in the head.

Anything moving in the head would be illegal. I'm guessing he used 12 to prevent that, but I don't know how you could guarantee nothing was moving.

I'm surprised you could feel such a drastic difference in the ~2 grams of added weight by the 4 cotton balls.

Yeah you tear the balls into smaller pieces and twist/stuff/push them in. I used my wife's eyebrows tweezer which worked great.

I did 12 because it guarantee that nothing is moving inside the Head. I haven't seen any performance issues based on my last round. It did add some weight to the head. I'm not sure how much but you can offset that but swapping out the weight plug for something lighter.
