Here are mine. I'd still like to get my hands on a naked 009 with minimal stamping. FWIW, I game all of these.

Drool... Nice sticks boss! How do you even decide which to use?

I try to stick to a single putter for the majority of my rounds which is usually, at least historically, my deep milled TeI3. If the weather is really bad though and I don't feel like maintaining the finish on the TeI3, I'll grab a Button Back instead. If my stroke is feeling a little off though, I'll switch things up just to help get my concentration back on track. I usually grab the Tour Rat when that is the case. I just got the Super Rat last fall so it hasn't seen much action but it's a solid putter. That one is really hard to leave behind. I just put it back in the bag last week though and it's spot there is likely very safe. It can be hard to decide though. For the most part, all my putters have a very similar look and feel (they are all naked Newport style Camerons) so it's easy to switch from one to another. A little carpet putting the night before and some extra work on the greens the next day and I'm pretty acclimated to the "new" flatstick. Trying to decide between all the putters in the stable though has been a really nice problem to have. Maybe one of these days I'll find the "magic" in one of them and it will just stay put?

Word of advice to anyone saving to buy one. DO NOT pull the trigger just to buy one, wait for "the one" to pop up. Took me over a year to finally pull the trigger on one, it's not because I didn't have the money it was because I knew I wouldn't be completely satisfied until I found the putter of my dreams.
Great advice!!!

So True too!

As I said earlier, as I was not a collector, I just wanted one to game. Across a little over a year's time, I tried and passed on 4 T's because while they were beautiful, they either weren't the design that I was looking for, or they didn't feel right. It's funny cuz the fourth one that I tried was the perfect finish, the black oxide similar to my Beach and it was a Newport, however it was a CS. That's the one design that I cannot develop a feel for, and my teacher and another Pro said it was because of my being right eye dominant, but I was starting to get desperate cuz the money was burning a hole in my pocket, lol.

Then a few weeks later I got the call from my Father, so it was all good.

However, if you're not a collector and are looking for "that one," take your time, and if at all possible, putt with it if you can. I realize that a lot will buy from the Bay or on here, so they won't have the opportunity to putt with it before hand, so just make sure that the specs are what you use.

And follow Arizona's advice!!

Happy hunting Gals & Gents :)

Richard

Woohooo!!!

One of my docs brought me some "Blue" solution so I'm gonna amuse myself tonight by cold blueing my Beach, then I'm gonna refill it :)

I know Rookie and all of you purists are cringing, however I'm bored and while it doesn't last as long as the heated blueing process, WTH, I've been doin it with my Napa for years and it looks ok, lol.

Have a nice n evening :)

I do love the deep milling on that insert. It's hard not to. This one is not a CT but I deep milled an OTR TeI3. This is about as deep as I could get it without hurting the integrity of the insert. The milling is a little deeper than it appears in the pic. The finish on the TeI3 doesn't lend itself very well to showing the depth in a photo. I especially love how seamless the milling is without the elastomer.

G-bone's putter takes the cake. I dont have the balls to stamp initials on a tour stick.
The pictures on the COA show the stampings, so I presume that they were already there.
The befores are on page 1. Yea, I'll post one when I finish with it-

Quick question-

There's a streak on the face that looks "rusty," and the rest of the putter looks fine.

Should I soak the whole putter or just sponge the area with blue?

The problem is that I got my meds at 11pm, did two coats of blue(dipped), then let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then I wiped it off. Well, third coat was about 11:15-11:20pm, the meds had kicked in, so I just closed my eyes for a minute, then I woke up and it was 2:30am. The putter had shifted and that rust line was the surface line of the blue ;)

I should be ok sponging it, right?

Thanks,

Have a nice day,
Richard
