I'm in the 105-110 range, and I went with the D+ 60 X in the 915 - fantastic shaft but will feel really stiff if you don't have a medium quick transition because of the tip stiffness. Have really grown into it 3 rounds in and have seen some beautiful ball flights and good distance early this golf season. Looking forward to hitting it this summer! Can imagine hitting quite a few 290-310.

It's tipped the standard 1/2" for the 915 tip (std X), and has handled everything I've brought it. It's wonderfully stable and the TX could probably handle anyone who likes a 65 gram shaft. I haven't toyed around with the adjustments but might like to soon!

Hi guys need some help I am looking at getting a flex 3wood and I'm confused on which shaft to go for.something 80 grams plus in extra stiff.i know there's lots of possible combinations but just need some help so I can narrow it down to a few.also anyone hit elements chrome 80 in 3 wood.thanks in advance

I just got my Vapor Pro driver this week. I'm overly pleased. Granted, I only get to use it in a simulator for the time being and it doesn't judge ball spin, but I know that I'm hitting it solid.

 

Now I need my irons. I'm waiting for a good deal to pop up since I have until June to get them. I'm thinking as long as I have them by the end of April I'll be ready for play.

Thats horrible! But don't feel too bad because it happened to me as well. Bought a "Mint" Tour AD DI-6 only to take the grip off and see HUGE gouges on the shaft. And when I contacted the guy he could not have cared less and was a total jerk (this wasn't bought on the BST). Why is it so hard for people to just take a grip off??

I took my Vapor Pro to the range again yesterday, and I need another shaft, the S+ 60 stiff is too loose, I have a D+ coming and hope that makes it better. I was pulling the Pro left, and no matter what setting kept hitting it left. I hit my CT 2.0 Tour better yesterday, but I like the shape and feel of the Pro better, so I am really hoping the D+ will give me better control.

The Flex 3wd was even better yesterday, I love it. I had the CT 2.0 3wd and the Flex is so much better all around.

I have a Pro coming in with the S+ 60. Maybe this is the one to knock out my Ping G20 that's been in the bag since 2012. The Covert 2.0 Tour didn't put up a decent fight. Hope the Vapor us better.

Someone just sniped a set of Vapor Pro irons (DG-S 3i-PW) on eBay for $710.51. I know it's someone here, and I very much dislike you right now. I was 4 seconds away from those...

I e-mailed the seller to see if he would sell them to me and skip shipping, as I have family near him. He didn't like my price and never e-mailed me back. Shipping to Alaska would have cost him an arm and a leg. I needed to win to show him he lost out by using the free shipping cost...whoever you are that won them....congrats....ya jerk...

It's the 65 gram one. Feels firm from tip to shaft. Not noodle-like the stock Blueboard.

That one felt so whippy for the times I used it at the range and like thru 8-10 holes I played it with.

Not a good stock shaft, in my opinion, the TiNi in the covert 2.0 was great.

I used the vapor pro with PX shaft and my trusty tour ad Di 6s.

I want to try it out with a tour ad bb.

My reply was no as the Covert 2.0 with my Speeder TS 8.2 was perfect and my fave club in my bag... can draw or fade it and its my 270-280 yard club in the summer...

so question to everyone here - why would change to a Flex 3 wood???

I had the CT 2.0 3wd and loved it, but the Flex is better for me. Easier to launch and much easier to hit off the fairway. Distance off the tee seems to be the same, but much better launch off the fairway. I also like the shape and feel better with the Flex.

I mentioned this before but the upcharge inconsistency with Nike is maddening; I haven't experienced or seen this with any other manufacturer. The store I was at yesterday told me the D+ was a $150 upcharge in the Pro. I asked him if that was just for the Speed and he said no that it was for all 3 models (Flex, Pro, Speed) and they have sold quite a few of them in that setup. My response was "wow, I guess there is a sucker born every minute". Without any hesitation he looked at me and said "well...it is the real D+, unlike the stock S+ which is watered down...you gotta pay if you want to use what the guys on tour use".

Got to love it.
