[/quote] i found it easier to work...both ways. it wasn't a straight-minded driver unless you were doing your best to make sure it was going that way...

I actually agree, that is why the 80 gram shaft is a must. The problem I have is that Nike doesn't offer the Blueboard at 80 grams, has to be special ordered from Diamana. So unfortunately I went to the 8.2 Fujikura EXS that I had in my Covert Tour fairway.

I have been testing the R15 430, Vapor Pro and Vapor flex. R15 430 has won each time for me (feel and distance) even though I want to like the Nike better....

I tried my PX TI 80 gram shaft in the three wood and the weight was good, but the performance still wasn't there for me. It's just not meant to be I guess.

For those that have hit the Flex hybrid and 5wd, which way would you lean? Looking to replace my 3 iron, thinking either the 3 hybrid or 5wd. Thanks.

Got my first full round in for the year yesterday. Lost money. The driver was all over place. Only hit 5 fairways and didn't know if I was going to miss left or right. Irons didn't work out much better for me hit 3 greens. :(

Chipping and putting saved my a**.

I gave the Vapor Pro another go today and was killing it, had the two way miss going with it previously.

They don't feel half as good as my splits from the Oven! Even my normal guys in my 4 some didn't care for them. The driver was all over the place, maybe it's the shaft? I thought I nutted some big high draws and got up to the ball and no roll at all not longer then any other drives. It's supposed to be 60's and 70's all week so I should get some serious testing in.

Keep us posted on how the testing goes. The woods in the vapor line feel dead feeling to me, it could be the shaft, who knows. I may go with the R15 430cc but I really want to like the Vapor line. I may mess around with some shafts and see how that progresses.

I can not state emphatically enough how perfect the vapor pro's with modus are for me. Turf interaction, address look, feel and responsiveness are off the charts. Now to get my hands on a flex, speed fairways and some oven wedges I will be in business!

well - another round with the vapor flex driver paired with speeder...and another round i have spent walking away from each tee with a ginormous grin on my face.

12/14 fwys and the two i missed were with my 5w. i had a handful over 300 or just at 300 but, majority of them were a solid 275-280.

now, if i could putt ---

Had the same problem with my VPC coming from the cover 2.0 forged. I decided not to change until I figured them out. Took me about a month to get them dialed in. Now I love them an am glad i stuck with them. It was weird as I never had problems changing irons before.
