yeah, saw the jgr and j015 a few months ago. haven't hit them but their lofts are pretty strong.

I've been watching this thread unfold with interest. I have had j33 and j36 combo's, then j38 DPC's. Managed to pick up a set of j15cb's brand new very cheaply, probably due to Bridgestone scaling back in the UK.

 

Not had a chance to hit them yet, but will do soon, they certainly look very nice. Currently they have s300's in, but I am considering some Modus 125's.

 

Any thoughts on how my current set j38's with C-Taper SX will compare to the new j15's with s300 or Modus 125?

 

I am hoping for similar performance, with better feel and a similar sort of flight.

Just got a used set of J15 CB with Nippon steel 950 stiff shaft.

Perfect shaft for my slower swing due to shoulder injury and I am hitting the ball so much better.

J15 CB will be in my bag for a long time.

I agree with you PP but something has happened in this thread that is an anomaly. Not only have we shared information about the Bridgestones. And I might add some very helpfull and insightfull information. We all have had fun doing it. In the course of this thread, I have made some friends that have transcended beyond this forum. The 745 thread has come close in regards to the comradery here but still a distance second. Even the op feels comfortable talking about another set that he is playing and good for him.

 

I wonder if this thread should be moved to the 19th hole. Lol. I still love to help people that are interested in purchasing a Bridgestone product and have helped many people on here. But I have to admit, I love reading Wobgon's replies to Fuji.. I just need to figure out which one is Tom and which one is Jerry..lol. As for all the Cobra talk. You can't really be considered in Jay's Cobra Kai club until you get the high top golf shoes and the pants that Ricky wears now. Please post pictures.
