Only tried a Nemsys from VA and didn't like it.  Heard good things though about the Raijin 2.0 from a buddy. Do you have one?  care to share feedback

What hotmelt gun do you use?  I'm so terrified of actually putting melt into a clubhead, but like you can't tell me every pro that plays a G425 driver doesn't have some melt in it to kill the spin...

I got fit into a TSI3 back in March and I just bought a TSR3 head to test out.

Justin… I have heard the same buzzz about the TSR. Even from other OEM’s. Titleist did the rare thing. Took a winner and made it better.

 

The 3/5 woods are magical as well. I was fitted and landed on the TSR3 driver and TSR2 3/5 woods. Ventus black and blue for the FWY’s. I was surprised to see the TSR2 15* was as long as my Stealth Ti 15*. Same specs. Good stuff.

I use the same as the tour vans, Champ.  Almost every pro, especially Ping, has hotmelt.  Aside from acoustics, it gives the player the ability to add weight where they need it vs only where the OEM gives you a weight port.

Richard, whats up brotha.  Agree 100%, they made all the right changes to the TSi.  The fairway woods are my next review along with shafts.  Based on my improved knowledge of weight and it's effect on performance from our Edel SMS irons, the TSr3 3wood was the direction I went and why I decided to grab the driver.  It's a real game changer. 

 

My setups 

TSR3 8* w/ Ventus Black TR 6X

TSR3 15* w/ Ventus Black TR 7X (still testing this combo)

Are you doing fittings for Edel now? I’d definitely be interested in doing a putter fitting. We’re entering the silly season in MD, so it’s time to start shuffling the bag up!

Awesome stuff J. You able to hit the tsr4 as of yet? And how you like the fairways? Coming off wrist surgery so no swinging for couple more months but the tsr4 and 2 and the tsr3 4,wood and tsr2 7 wood have me pretty excited to try. 🍻

I've hit the TSR4 but didn't spin it enough.  TSR3 keeps me around 2300 so I can max out carry on a high draw.  Honestly the only other driver I'm interested in testing is the Cobra.

Having not looked back thru last few pages but did you try the tsr2 and if so how did you find it worked with the draw?

I tried the TSR2 driver briefly and got pretty good numbers but preferred the slightly lower spin and shape of the 3.  With that said I have the TSr2+ 3 wood and Tsr2 5 wood.  LOVE them

Just curious, why the TSR3 for the 3/15* wood and the TSR2 for the 5 wood? Was it just a numbers thing?

I think you misread my post.  TSR2+ 3 wood not TSR3.  I did have the tsr3 3 wood for a minute and liked it but the 2+ has been a better fit for me as it's mostly a tee club.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification! Saw you were testing the 15* a while back and didn't realize the TSR2+ had replaced it in the bag vs being an alternative!

Not sure.  Haven't tested the MMT's in the SMS Pro's yet but I'm sure at some point I will.  My goal is to get back into graphite as I prefer the feel and reduction in vibration, especially on mishits but right now my Pro's are dialed with the DG Gold.

SMS / SMS Pro setup for those interested.  This was after testing and realizing my best numbers and miss come from weight in the toe that transitions to heel.  To be honest the experience has been like unlike any other.  Moving weight around and creating a bias in an iron is wild and awesome.

                         

                               Heel      Center      Toe

SMS Pro 8- PW -     2             4              8

SMS Pro 6-7      -     4             8             2

SMS 4-5             -    8             4              2

 

So with short irons I tend to be more steep and don't get stuck with an in to out club path.  Instead my miss tends to be left of greens so weight in the toe has been incredible.  Mid irons I can get a little stuck and have my face open to an in to out path so a more neutral weight setup has really helped.  With the longer irons I tend to come more in to out with an open face to path and my miss is right.  Weight in the heel has given me a slight draw back to my target line instead of missing right of the green.  If I do miss the green the ball is greenside rough by a few yards and not 15yds right.  This has made a huge difference in my scrambling.

In time there will be lefty options again outside of limited runs of putters.  The company is evolving and while it does that it's being smart with investment so it's around for many years to come. I'm actually a left handed person but happen to play golf righty.  But I feel your pain as there are other sports or activities where I am left handed and it's difficult to find what I need.  It comes down to we are the minority and the return on servicing lefty's can be hard to justify for smaller brands like Edel.  But as the company grows I'm sure lefty will be in the mix.

 

I posted this the other day in the SMS Pro thread but I'll drop these here.  This was a fitting I did yesterday for a player that wanted the SMS Pro's.  It's wild

 

ALL shots were with 7 iron.  I listed them as different irons so I could see different colors on the dispersion chart.

Love the Blue TR but Black TR dropped spin another 200 rpms allows me to hit a fade when needed.  Blue TR had a smidge of left in it for me when I went after one.
