So my "open box" Speedblade 3-PW set for around $200 arrived today, and dang, I knew that box felt really light. It was a Speedblade 7 iron with a UPC tag for the 3-PW set. The idiots did the same thing with this that they did for those KBS shafts in the other thread. Order a set, receive one iron, or one shaft, etc. Customer service was pretty useless. Just return the one club for a refund. Didn't need 'em, but still a bit of a buzzkill. Methinks Amazon bit off a bit more than it could chew getting mixed up in golf retailing...

I ordered 4-pw of the Tour Edge XCG6 exotics and receieved only the 7 iron with 4-pw label. Emailed amazon and they said I could either choose one of two options:

Option 1: A 40 percent refund and they will do their best to complete the order but can't give any timeframe or guarantee it would ever be filled.

Option 2: Return for full refund

I asked a follow up question about the 40 percent refund and they replied "Per your words we will issues 40 percent refund to your account." I re-read what I wrote them and its a huge stretch to interpret my question as agreeing to that option. Oh well.

I cannot begin to count the number of things ive ordered from amazon over the past several years and this is the first problem ive ever had.

apparently most, may be 95% of staff who account for inventory do not play golf...many here ordered a set or sets of clubs, shafts, and got "shafted" ( no pun intended), with only one club. one of my golf buddies exchanged the "set" 3 times, only to found out it's amazons inventory error...

Very good deals on Adidas shorts. Picked me up a pair of the flat front tech and flat front heathered for $22 and $15. You can search all over the internet and not find a better deal than that.
