For anyone interested... The PXi's is a really nice shaft for these wedges. I was surprised how heavy they felt after I put them together. Which I'm happy about. They are also throwing the ball out there a bit lower than the Nippon Modus3 I had in prior.
i use Pxi in my irons and have been going back and forth between putting those or DG spinners in my wedges as I hate the stock shafts. I just have to pull the trigger on one or the other and quit going back and forth. One thing I need is a lower flight with the wedges, I send full and even some half shots way to high. How's the spin with the Pxi?
The PXi spins less than the Modus3. Before the Engage's I was playing 52 and 58 degree Vokey's with DG Spinners and I didn't like them at all. I couldn't put a full swing on those vokey's to save my life. For the most part, the strength of my game is my wedge play. But with the Modus I just wasn't getting the distance I felt I should have which I have unscientifically attributed to the really high ball flight I had with the Modus. So I put the PXi in with the hope of lower flight, less spin, more roll. Might not be the best for everyone, but I like it.

I'll stick to the Modus3 in the irons because I love the high ball flight from 165 yards and the hop, stop and sit when the ball lands.
my old wedges had the Pxi in them and couldn't get them to spin enough to hop and stop. They always rolled out too much for my liking. The engage do hop and stop but I hate the shafts, feel like crap. Might have to do some more research. Want a lower flight with spin. Thanks for the info!

Wow. Just wow.

The wax is hard enough to get off the hosel...I couldn't imagine trying to get plaster off.

It's funny. People are mad about wedges rusting on the shelves. I'm mad cause every time I hit a bunker shot the sand takes my rust off.

So played my first full round with them yesterday. Short chips the 60* DS was like cheating. I think I was about 6/7 in getting within 2 feet. Will need to work on shost from an uphill lie. The 52 SQ and 60 sometimes went basically right under the ball, which was actually hitting it a little fat. But I think a slight ball position adjustment will cover that.

Never had a need to use the 56 TS yesterday, but bunker practice especially has really made me love it.

Not to mention my four-ball match play team won our event at our club, so between some trade ins and the GCs, my Engage wedges were nearly free!!

Those are looking sexy. My wife bought me a 60DS for my birthday so the little rust I've had so far I told her she must have bought a bad wedge. She freaked out.. Too bad in Arizona mine won't be looking like that.

Anyone else having issues with the 60DS going right under the ball? I have tried different setup and ball positions, but it seems to me that the club just cuts right under the ball, and the ball goes nowhere. It may be my swing, but I did not have this issue with other wedges. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just had 30 yds flop in for birdie with my 58ts during my round on Monday. I'm still not used to it compared to my vr 60° 6°bounce wedge, but I sure got more confident with it now.

Well I'm all aboard the Engage band wagon. Played my 56* SS today for the first time. Really didn't get to practice at all with it other than a few range shots, but no actually chipping practice. I had more chip and tap in putts today than I probably had the past month of playing. I easily hit every shot I needed to with this wedge. The only way I can describe it would be "predictable". I know that when I need to hit a certain shot, it'll do what I want it to do. Turf interaction was great, didn't hit one fat shot with it all day. Haven't quite dialed it in yet for full shots so I stuck with my 51* AW for anything over about 70 yards.

This thing is night and day compared to my Rtx 2.0 54. Can't wait to get some actual practice time in with it.

I have to agree with you guys who had issues of not making solid contact consistently. After seeing all the love I went with a 52* SS and 58* DS. The 52 was OK, although I definitely lost some distance. But the 58 and me are just on different pages, I either go completely under it, or catch the ground quick. Not sure if it's the weight or IDK, I know after I pulled my Vokeys back out I was hitting those poorly after switching off the Engages. But within a half a bucket I felt confident again with them, versus the Engage where I just didn't know what was going to happen and if everything went well, I most likely would come up short.
