Just got my package from Continental today, too. I sent in the one "white sheep" in my bag--my beloved RBZ Stage 2 TS. I love the club but could never get totally on board with the color and graphics.

My other clubs are all Titleist, so I asked Justin if he could make it match. Here it is alone...

These pictures are really awesome. Gives me tons of ideas. For the guys at Continental, have you thought about starting an Instagram account? Would be a great place to post finish options, before/after photos, etc. Keep up the good work!

I'm not familiar with the model. Did you have the heads stripped, or were they raw to start?

I feel like a tool asking, but I thought the previous images were the refinished pics.

Im not a fan of chrome at all and thought what the heck, lets strip them. This is what they look like refinished

Hey everyone. Its been a while and I wanted to show you a Scotty we refinished and painted white. Do you have the ability to strip a fairway wood head of all paint, leaving it with a satin metal finish? I have sent 5 heads to be painted this past year and want to try something different.

Peanuts i posted this earlier in the threat but this sounds like what you are looking for. Also something to think about we can also do a finish like the old callaway big bertha so it will be a satin like this but clear coat it like the old school callaway woods, you may really like that

I am lucky enough to live about 30 minutes from CG now. I have stopped in several times and talked with Stewart. Refinished a Scotty for me about 6 months ago. Turned out great.

If ya'll ever need an extra hand at the shop, I am a pretty well experienced club builder. Would love to learn the refinishing process.

Exactly what I'm thinking about. Hit a ball out of high rough with a hybrid and chipped the topline (again!). Time to try something different. Will the head rust if you don't apply a clear coat? I don't know if I'm ready to go full Russ(t) just yet.

Might be looking at a putter project as well, but wil call the shop as I'm not sure if we can accomplish my goals.

How close in color are the old Callaway gray and the SLDR gray?

[/quote]The old callaway was lighter but it wasn't painted. The original callaway big bertha woods were actually raw then tumbled with a clear coat put on top of that. Where as the original old taylormade preferred woods were a satin with a matte finish coat on it.

[/quote]Sorry we don't have a paint list at this time but we mix a lot of paints so we can get close on most colors that you are looking for. Do you have something in mind I might have a picture I can send you in a message. Thanks

I think the best way to go about it is to send them a color swatch, or pull something down and send them a .jpg.

IMO those who want unique colors might want to scrounge Home Depot and mail a sample card in with the club!

I've had Continental refinish a few of my clubs and they have all come out better than perfect every time! They do AMAZING work and are super great to work with. If you need anything fixed, they are the people to call and the only shop I will ever send clubs for refinishing.

Got lucky no doubt. Saw a bunch of golf bags and decided to take a chance. It paid off. Couple of original Pro Platinum Art of Putting Newport Mid Slants.

[/quote]Part of the refinish will be getting most dings and nicks out of the putter. For those pro platinum putters we strip that finish off and we can do one of three finishes for that putter. We can oil can, black oxide or paint it any color you want. I attached a couple examples of all three different types of finishes for you.

What is the cost per head to strip chrome? I dont see it on their website.
