A little about us

We started back in 1972 as a small repair shop and have grown into the largest repair shop on the east coast. We specialize in custom fitting, repair and of course refinishing.

Our repair shop is 5,000 square feet with a 400 square foot spray booth. We can do anything from repairing or refinishing a wooden woods to reshafting, hotmelting, grinding,regooving irons and refinishing the newest custom color golf clubs

Going forward we will be putting some examples of our refinished clubs and we very much look forward to hearing from everyone and being part of this community!

would it be possible to get a vapor pro head done the following way -

Taylormade matte white crown (keeping the vapor swoosh) going to just over the edges (see no black at address) while keeping the bottom of the driver the black/vapor?

also - could the vapor that fills the channel and around the cavity be changed to matte white as well?

Gio we could do the top and keep the swoosh no problem at all. The top finish you are looking for we did a R15 driver kinda like this last week. Here is a picture of it and it looked great!

If you want the channel painted it would be no problem it would just be considered a 2 color paint so it would be 60 dollars plus the shipping back to you and of course you get the 15 dollars off for the GolfWRX promo. Thanks very much

That would be no problem at all. I don't have any pictures of a matte purple but just to show you our purple I will show you a gloss which will be the same color and we can just matte it instead.

[/quote] Sorry I should have noted that this customer didn't want a real matte finish. He was asking for a more eggshell finish rather than straight matte so we changed it up a little for him.

A few questions....I did not see an answer about the TM Mini Colorway.....can this be done?

Also, have you ever weighed out a head before you do the work and the results after? Any changes in gram weight?

We have a color that is very close to the sldr s grey. As far the weight goes it changes very little, we strip a lot of the old off before we apply ours so its not going to change much.

About replacing decals/lettering... Can you replace the Titleist script on the toe of the metalwoods? If so does the type of paint (matte, gloss, etc..) affect this?

Titleist does not send us the factory decals so we dont have a way of replacing those decals. What we can do is if being refinished to factory is preserve the decals if they are in good enough shape. Even if you change the color we can save the Titleist alignment aid on top though.

Awesome work. Would you guys be able to turn a chrome finished iron into a satin finish? I have a set of rare tour issue satin Rocketbladez tour's but my A-wedge is the retail version and doesn't match and really really bothers me.

I sent my Scotty Studio Select in for a refinish last week. I'll post some photos when it returns.

They are removing the black finish and applying a satin coat to the natural finish. They will also be doing custom paint fill.

whew! Thought for a second that was mine! I sent in 3 913s; 10.5* D2, 15* Fd, and an 18* hd all for the same thing but with a darker grey/black matte finish..

So much for being unique on wrx

I probably missed it but how are you replacing the decals on some of the clubs? Do you only have certain replacement decals like the TM driver ones and the Nike "swoosh"?

Josh, Some of the decals we can replace for Taylormade but a lot of the graphics on top if we can't save them then we don't have a way at saving. For example the swoosh we can save on the Nike drivers if customers want that and even repaint it another color. We do have numbers and lofts we can do and we have the Taylormade circle T logo for the crown of the woods.

Is that face sanded or blasted? It looks a little different than the RBZ that had the black face and sole removed.

[/quote] On the Titleist driver we actually had to blast the anodized finish then we buffed the face and sole and left the top right and bottom right quadrant blasted to give it contrast and help it pop out a little more.

Is the buffed look something that can be requested versus the blasted look of the RBZ example?
