Continental Golf - Refinishing and More!

First Justin is the bees knees or whatever slang adjective you want to use. Im not the easiest customer to deal with but he was EXTREMELY patient and answered all my questions. After many questions, I felt comfortable enough to send all three of my heads down. The 913s have served me well and figuring they will be in the bag for a minute, went ahead and had the brush look applied. Got the initial pictures today and VERY happy with the results. I didnt get the other two pics and as were under a severe snow watch, probably wont but.. ya here you go

 

 

 

Bad thing is now I gotta send in my 3446 head for the same treatment before the deal ends.

Shipped in my Covert 2.0 today, looking for an "Eleanor" color scheme (Gone in 60 Seconds). Hopefully I will still get the $15 off since I sent it in today, even though it may not get there by the 27th. Either way, I am sure that the finished product will be fantastic.

couple of questions... do you strip existing paint, or prep and paint over? if the latter, does it add any weight, and how much of so?

It's a g30 driver. Would that price include the accents painted on the bottom of the head like the pink g30 at the beginning of this thread ?

I'm curious as to what kind of clear coat is used? If I were to get a head painted in matte black and changed the shaft then cleaned up with acetone, what's to keep the paint or clear from coming off?

Question: When you refinish a metalwood clubhead, do you take the shaft off, or can you refinish the head without removing the shaft?

Also, can you talk about your reshafting services?

Can one get woods reshafted and swingweighted when sent in for refinishing?

They refinished my Stage 2 clubs with the head in. Actually, come to think of it...I believe they've done all the clubs I've given them with the shaft in.

They do a great job reshafting clubs too. I've had them do a lot of work for me in that area. I haven't gotten them to change any swingweights, but I'd be shocked if they didn't do that as well.

[/quote]That would be considered a 2 color paint so it would cost you an extra 10 dollars if you paint them all the same color. If you change colors like blue orange white etc it would change the price. Feel free to message me with what you are looking for exactly and we can figure it out. Thanks very much

[/quote] We carry hundreds of different shafts and have access to most every shaft on the market from old shafts to new shafts. [/quote]You are looking at 35 dollars per wedge to have it regrooved but to help for part of the golfwrx promo we can do it for 25 dollars per wedge or if you wanted the wedge totally blasted and regrooved it would be 50 and could promo it down to 35 per head. If you are interested please message me with what you have and we can discuss what you want done specially and to what wedges you do have.

An example some taylormade wedges are so hard we don't have a tip that will touch it to be honest.

We'll that's both good & bad news.....good news that the offer will be rolling for longer & giving more people the chance to jump on in....bad news is now I have to decided which other clubs i'm going to be sending in...Lol.

You never clean up the painted surfaces on a driver with acetone. Any paint or clear coat will be damaged. Solvent works great and will not harm the paint.

[/quote] Payton we use a high end clear coat we get from our paint supplier and because of this and the steps we use in the refinishing process it will hold up extremely well. Having said that, you should never put acetone on a painted surface it will damage the finish. We never use acetone to clean up a club head or cleaning off epoxy from reshafting, if you have to clean something off a club head you are much better using mineral spirits or something of that sort.
