Carded my low round of the year today with a 2 under par 70. Hit 17 of 18 greens, and made 4 birdies. Nice to finally put everything together for once!

played 36 holes. first 18 shot 83. felt like i was playing well but couldn't get up and down to save my life. second 18 shot 79, putted a bit better.

shot 75 Saturday (cold damp crappy weather); got in a groove and was hitting some really nice shots. Even my misses seemed to be working out. I only made one decent putt.

shot 88 on Sunday (perfect golf day); hit it ob on 2-3-5-15-16 so that was nice

80 today in the cool weather, was +5 on 2 holes. I was proud of the 39 on the back, as I made a triple on 10, then bogeyed 12 to go +4, played in at -1, with a text book birdie on 18.

I have to admit I think I got ahead of myself and put the brakes on what could have been a great round . Played yesterday up here in Boston about 55 degrees and cloudy

We started on 10 and I came out the gates with birdies on 10 and 11 . Picked up 2 more on the par 5 with a 25 foot eagle putt made the turn at 4 under

As I stood on the first hole my 10th I thought to myself this could be a career round considering the conditions . Course record is only 7 under and I am 4 under half way thru

Then the weeks feel off I bogeyed 1 and 2 . And added a 3 putt bogey on 6 . Finishing my round at 1 under 69.

Golf is a funny game because before my round I would have been more than ecstatic to break par yesterday but when I walked off the final green yesterday I felt totally disappointed and down on myself

Shot a personal best today...thanks to the great Northern Illinois November weather! Finished with 73 with 1 birdie and 2 bogeys. My two bogeys came when I hit solid shots but clipped a tree limb on each of them. I made a nice recovery shot and had a makable putt to save par but missed both. Knew I was playing well, but didn't know my score until 17..then knew I needed 2 pars for a best and a birdie to shoot par.

Had probably the day of the season today as far as consistency over a long stretch.

We played 27 and I shot 39-38-37, was +4 through 5, then played the next 22 holes +3 (33 putts over those last 22 holes), and a career best 28 on the final 18.

Putting is my weakness normally, missed 1 putt inside 8 ft today. The Tank Cruiser #7 has found a permanent home, just so easy to line up, and I let myself do what felt right today, outside 20ft was normal putting grip, inside was left hand low, and I was deadly with it today. Funny thing is, I 3 putted #3 and #4 for bogey after hitting in reg, then was lights out the next 22 holes.

It was a good day...

I will be smiling about this all day long...

Had an awful day putting including (5) 3-Puts and 37 total puts...

5 Fairways, 12 GIR...

Missed it by 1 and shot an 80! Putter needs work!

Finished up the season today 40-40-38

54 holes on the final weekend

39-38-37-40-40-38 for a total of +18 over 54. Saturday was 77-37, Today, was 80-38

Putting is my weakness and my #'s were

16-14-14-17-16-14 respectively.

The #7 just seems to work for me, glad i gave it a whirl.

I had 89 off the stick the other day for 52 stableford points. I'm a 33 handicapper at my home course.
Was just one of those amazing days where everything clicked. I'd been shooting sub-100 on non comp days for a few weeks but just hadn't had the days off to play.

Could have easily been two strokes better. Had 3 straight birdie putts on the last 3 holes all about 12-20 feet. Any one of them could have easily gone in and two of them caught a piece of the hole but just wouldn't drop. Played good for windy conditions but feel like i left a couple shots out there.

Played on Saturday 45* weather with 20-30mph wind , I don't even want to post my score that's how bad it was.
Winter Golf I guess.

7 over 77 on a cold windy day here . Was prob about 42 degrees when we teed off and mayb 45 when we finished

I actually hit it pretty well . Missed a bunch of 5-8 foot putts or even in these conditions I could have been low 70"s . Oh well I am happy to still be swinging the club and hope to squeeze in another round or 2 before the real cold weather arrives

I was only able to get in 9 holes today and shot a 38. I moved up one tee and birdied the first hole. Those are rare for me. It was just one for those days where you play really good. Tomorrow might be different. I hope not but golf is golf.

15 over with 7 pars at a local 18 hole exec course. Would have rather played a larger course but my buddies are playing a higher end place this week so they wanted to save a buck. Either way I was happy to play and Ill take 7 pars. I had a lot of opportunities for birdie and par but I left a couple of chips too far and I had a couple of great reads that barely missed. Still a fun round and exited to work on some things at the range this week.

Im normally between 97 and 103 on the bigger courses with my best round being an 89.
