This has probably been covered, but on the Origins what is paint vs insert/polymer? Has anyone done paintfill mods?

I'm probably going to sell my brand new B2-05 after this RORS comes in.

Years later, I ended up with #117 of 1000 of the 006 protos. Got it for $240 shipped. Everything was in the package too. Book, cover, Putter etc. original box too.

Are the weights in the bottom just glued in or are they screwed in? Trying to see if I can pop them out before I paint it.

on the Method Matter putters? They aren't removable as far as I know.

Weights can be removed on converge putters, replaced weights and insert with copper from eBay

Nike Rors b2-01. 4 birdies today most I've ever had in a round. The 353 gram head is an improvement over the 340ish gram stock head.

Anyone know a grip similar to the one on the Origin Rors putter as well? Would a Cameron Pistolini be close?

Yes, the M.M are glued in place and screwed into the head, heat them up with torch to remove, may need to fashion a wrench. I used a needle-nose pliers and a thin sheet of cloth to protect the weights while twisting.

006, still have my original. I have Sold and bought a few, but still have the original one I bought when they came out. I kept it in the box for a collector item, but started using it last year.

I really thought the Method putters were the best of the entire Nike Golf putter offerings over the years. Having tried them all, I retained three Methods (plus a Concept putter) thinking I may put them in the bag again some day. I took them out to the putting green yesterday to compare to my Origin and I much prefer the Origin. I've probably gamed the Origin going on a year now, that is longer than anything within the last 5 to 6 years.

 

Time to get rid of extra three Methods.......maybe someone else would give them some playing time.

Just want to chime in about my new Origin's shaft. I got the counterflex version and have cut it down to my playing length 32.5". The shaft is all butt diameter(parallel) down almost half the putter length!! It's then got like an 8 step taper in a 8" long portion about the middle. Heaviest, and by far stiffest shaft I have ever felt. I went to bend it as a trial and it wouldn't flex at all, stout as hell. May or may not improve feel during my stroke, time will tell. I like it thus far.

 

It's just the weirdest putter shaft I've ever encountered, please tell me I'm not the only one to notice??

Just curious, lovely putters, what's the loft on these? Looking at picking up a method but with a forward press i really cant do 2 degrees of loft like on the standard models. Thanks

I know my Origin is standard loft/lie. I'm not sure of the measured loft on the other three Methods. When I took the above putters out the other day, I didn't notice a significant difference in the face appearance at setup or the roll of the ball when hitting putts.

 

If you are thinking about picking up a Method I wouldn't let the possibility of 2 degrees of loft keep you from doing it; loft/lie can easily be adjusted if needed.
