Ping i-e Irons?

Just saw them in person. I thought the top line was smaller than the i25's. They look similar at address heel to toe. I only saw the 7, and the offset was similar also.

I really like the look. IMHO it has a subtle look and I like the progression. Ping has hit the mark lately on all the releases and I feel they are on target once again. A winner in my opinion. If what people are saying on the release is correct I may be playing my fall golf with a set of Ping i-e irons

I think there was just some hope that after seeing i25 and s55 there was some trend at ping for a bit more simplicity in the looks of the club (esp badging/colors) and that the new i would be a further improvement over the i25 in that trend. but its not. its not any more busy than the i20 or i15 tho so its more a matter of hopes than anything.

Ok, I just saw them (finally). I think they're a bigger departure from the i25's than expected. Still progressive, but the cavity and overall looks is definitely evolutionary (not revolutionary). I don't love the Blud, but it looks subtle in pictures so hopefully it'll be clean in person.

any idea when the new s series will be released? I saw 2017 on a post here but wouldn't that be a 4 year product life cycle?

I thought G & I series were on 2 year cycles with the S series on a 3 year cycle...

They look very similar to i25's and guys from 25's to Tour winners play those. Not trying to be an a$$, but they're like most Ping's, if you like i series irons I think you'll love these.

Who cares what they look like? They are PINGs. As long as they perform, the will sell well. Me? I'll try them in the spring. No new irons until I turn 50. That's next April.
