Looks like the SM5 has a slightly more rounded toe.

Looks like the sm5 had a straighter leading edge as well...at least in that grind. I thought it was going to be the opposite of that.

On the shaft of the jet black finish wedges there is a label that states that it will rust.

You are correct, the jet black finish would be the way to go.

I completely agree! There was all this talk about a straighter leading edge, but it certainly looked just as rounded to me.

Well, if that is really the case, I'll keep my SM2s and SM5 gap. Grooves still sharp.

Can't compare to TVD. But I can tell you SM6 has a flatter toe, thinner top line, and straighter leading edge compared to SM5, if that helps.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of my Miura C and K! These do look good though, hard to beat the feeling of Miuras though...spoiled

Yea I can't seem to kick them out the bag. When I did my fitting last April in Orlando they tried super hard to get me into new wedges but it just wasn't happening. I have been using a Fourteen RM12 50* as well. Miura is just a special kind of feeling, my 56 and 59 are starting to wear though. Probably need some new ones next season for sure.

From the looks of those pics, I might prefer the TVD shape a little better.
