[/quote]I ordered a set and it took at least 3 weeks. I was very impressed upon arrival except for the tool mark left on the face of the 8 and 9 irons toe side of the grooves. This mark was in the identical spot on both irons and made thru the protective plastic. The 8 and 9 were sent back and i am still waiting for replacements. Glad there is no hurry as we got 12 inches of snow so far. Well worth the wait.

Seems 2-3 week delivery no matter what OEM we buy, since they all have to go through customs, etc.....That is my experience.

$450 for heads? you could build the set for like $700 that's the same as any other new. I have 20+ shafts already lol

i just ordered the exact same thing except in 6.0 yesterday after a fitting. 1/4 long and 1 degree up. the weird thing is i currently play an older set of muscle back mizuno blades with c taper and the c tapers were not the best shaft. the PX were amazing. i hope to have them this weekend!!

Thanks for all the kind words. I can't keep staring at them... There is definitely a very noticeable colour difference in real life between the double nickel satin and the chrome satin.

I believe all retail store sold ones have no paint fill. I think the paintfill ones were a pre production run or demos.

Chris Voshall, the design engineer with Mizuno, said (earlier in this thread I believe) that Mizuno did not release any MP-5 or MP-25, prototype or otherwise, with black paintfill. There were numerous sets on eBay prior to the official release that had black paintfill. He stated that they may or may not be fake and that it is possible they could be Mizuno heads stolen from the forger or seconds that were finished and paintfilled by someone other than Mizuno. Founder of this site bought a set off eBay with black paintfill and Chris said they were not released by Mizuno.

Took mine about one week with shipping. I order a combo set as well. I went with 3/4 iron MP25, 5-PW MP5. I ordered a MPH5 2 Iron to round out the top of my bag.

i really went back and forth on mp25 for the 3 iron. Fitter finally asked me, which would I rather hit 210 over water to a tucked pin... I pick the H5. haha It really reminds me of the original flyhi - forgiveness without a ton of offset. I like it!

Mark Crossfield has a "human experiment" going with MP-5 irons. Appears he was so taken with them that he's gaming them now and trying to determine if going from game improvement to better player iron really effects his scoring. Should be interesting....
