Think it has to do with the arrows to the left of the dates. It looks as the current styles that are carrying over have the arrow to the left of the date. The new colors do not have them.

 

The LC4's are a good example of this in the catalog.

This is the Fall/Holiday catalog so that just means those colorways were released prior to that season and will continue to be produced and available as part of the fall/holiday season lineup. It doesn't really explain releasing outside of the windows listed in the catalog, like the Air Zoom 90s. Anything that doesn't have an arrow is a new release for that season. These releases are planned very far in advance and the catalogs have to be designed and printed far in advance of the actual release and can't account for manufacturing/supply chain issues or other changes that may cause actual releases to precede or follow those listed days.

First them playing in the zoom 90 today. 88* degree weather.

 

I thought the shoe would have no ventilation, but it did. It has the same type toe as the FI impact 2. Sort of a breathable mesh.

 

Super hot day but I didn't sweat through my sock at get all and wet inside the shoe, dri-fit crew socks might have helped? Lol.

 

Walked all 18 holes. Beyond comfy. Made the thick orthopedic looking midsole helps the cushion. Definitely didn't get pain, blisters, etc from walking all those holes.

 

Super dry day and the traction was great. No slipping issues, don't know if it has or will be an issue on a damp or wet day. I'm sure someone who has played in them in those conditions will better off telling the grip.

 

Not to mention they look awesome on foot. I onto wish they would have actually been $140 instead of $175.

 

I wanna sell my lunar fire now. Don't think I'll wear those anytime soon after wearing and playing in the zoom 90. lol.

Trying to get rid of a pair of the Limited Total Orange LC3s made for Rory last year, if anyone wears an 11.5 and is interested PM me. I wore them for like 30 minutes on the range and decided they are too big for me and now they just sit in a box. I'll let them go for cheap, just want them gone.

Just got them in. The mesh feels very light. Good for those hot summer afternoons.

Walked my first 18 in my chukkas yesterday. Very very pleased with them. My home course is very hilly and I liked the bit of extra ankle support. My feet didn't hurt at all after the round like some spiked shoes do. The only thing I would suggest is wear a little higher socks because the back rubbed a teeny bit above my heel. Very minor and should go away once they break in.

Not high at all. Like a little v-shape where your ankle bone area is and that part gets lower. Better to see a pic of a shoe to see what I'm talking about. Lol.

 

I also always wear crew length or quarter crew socks so the padding of any shoe never rubs on my ankle.

 

If anything, the area part or me is more of a mid-cut.

I keep telling myself I don't need the black or the white AM 90s because I'm getting the Infrareds as soon as they drop. But I keep thinking about how comfortable they were in the store and I find myself trying to justify getting two pairs. I don't NEED them...but damn do I WANT them.

What are the soles on the 90's like? They look really high off the ground. Is that just an illusion or does your foot actually sit into the bed a bit?

 

How would you guys compare them to the way either the LC4's or Chukka's sit.

Soles aren't too high off the ground. Didn't feel elevated at all when wearing them.

 

The grip I feel is better than the Chukka's. Of course, just guessing since I never played or owned the chukka flyknit yet. But same as the FI impact 2 sole, I owned and played in them.

 

I say that before of the "sharp teeth" looking spikes grip well, while the chukka/ FI impact 2 look like it has little nubs. They grip too, but not as good as the zoom 90 sole.
