Looking at a used Seemore putter that is 35" and want to cut it down to 33". How does that work with a Seemore putter with no weights to change out?

I had an older si1, but it was too much of a blade look for me. I love zero offset and a center shaft, so I may look into getting another one.

The Si3 may be worth checking out. It’s a great lineup. I like the Si5.

Those are great options.  You might also want to look at the FGP mallet or Tri-mallet as well.

Do you have any models which are center shafted or near center shafted with a head weight of 330 grams?

Did you know that we have some great training aids that can help make your putting more consistent?  If you join our meeting today in Franklin, TN, what would you like to see?

you have aids to work on stroke, grip, setup, and start line.  How about an indoor/home solution to work on distance control that doesn’t require lots of space.   We are all time constrained with family and work and don’t have time to get to a course.  Unless we install a large backyard putting green or have a hallway, how can I work on speed control for 20, 30, and even 40’ putts?

Does such a thing exist? Best thing I can think of is the putt out and trying to the ball to sit in the small hole.

To practice longer putts with a puttout,  you need the actual space.    The only think that I know of that can do this is the ExPutt device.  It allows you to set green speed and distance up to 50'

Adding more to my last response.   I have seen a mat version of a device that uses a ramp and holes on the ramp that are calibrated for a particular speed putt.  It still required a lot of space.

conceptually what would be needed is a ramp with marks for different distance green speed combinations.   Ball distances is really a math formula.  Given a green speed and ball speed a ball will roll a specific distance.  This is how a stimp  meter works and the premise for aimpoint.

knowing that to reduce the required space for floor space. You would have to go vertical; hence the ramp version I mentioned at the beginning of this post.  To enhance the ramp for multiple speeds you need to add the deceleration that the ramp adds above normal friction.

it is possible to build something,  the question is can it be affordable and practical for a home setting.

How much affect do you guys think the “face balanced at impact” has, if any on Seemore putters?  I recently got a PCB and have really been enjoying it.  It has me interested in trying some of the other Seemore options.  I’m drawn to some of the putters, like the si3, si2, m7 and m5 ht.  These look the best to me but none of them are “face balanced at impact”.  The PCB has been working out so well for me that I’m wondering if the different way the putter is balanced is making some difference.  There is no doubt that the RST is helping, as I know my set up was not nearly as consistent as it should have been, and it forces me to line up close to the same every time.
anyways, just curious what people’s opinions are on if being balanced at impact makes much of a difference.  Have you guys that have used both types of Seemore putters noticed a difference in the ease of squaring the face at impact between the versions that are face balanced at impact and the others that are traditionally balanced?  thanks for any info!

In short yes, I have absolutely noticed a difference in the ease at squaring the face in the Seemore putters that are face balanced at impact.   It feels like they just want to return to square and all you have to do is not prevent it from happening.

You should also try the putter in the mini Giant Series.  Not only does it have FBi but it also has the correct use of MOi in a putter.  So if you like to use a mallet putter one should pick up a mini Giant DF or mini Giant FGP in a store (or use a friends) and hit a few putts with it.  We have had face balanced at impact in our putters since the start of the company in 1998.  We love face balanced at impact and can talk about it all day long.  It is our SeeMoreans link chamgel2 that tell "why" one should use it.  Appreciate the post by chamgel2 and jomatty.  Have a great Monday.  Need more info give us a call at 615-435-8015 or [email protected].  Happy to help.

I’m definitely going to call in at some point but had a few quick questions you, or someone else, may be able to answer.  What is the size difference between the mini giant and the fgp mallet or ptm3 mallet?  Is there any putters you could compare them to that I would me familiar with?  For instance is the mallet similar to a Scotty golo in size and is the mini giant similar to a spider x?   I’m loving my PCB but want to pick up something with some toe hang to compare it to.

thank you!

I’m rolling one of these right now and it really is a great putter!  With the Garsen quad grip it’s a really great combo.

Fantastic.  Keep us posted on how it goes.  Great grip too!

A few months ago I realized that with my eye cross dominance and stroke that center charted putters were the way to go.  Since the. I’ve been experimenting with a bunch of different ones, and many have performed very well.  That said, the two that made the cut as gamers were both Seemores.  The Nashville mfpg2 and a PCB.  I do have a Nashville z3c coming that I’m looking forward to trying as well.  I can’t find any information about this putter on the Seemore website or anywhere really.  Are the “z” just a different series that Seemore isn’t making anymore?  I’m assuming, by the shape, that it is not face balanced at impact.  Not sure if this will matter or not, or if this is part of why I’m putting so well with Seemore putters.  I guess we will see, but it is a good looking putter.

Great testing.  @jomatty send us a note at [email protected] and ask for Jim or Brandon.  They can give the details on the "z".  It is a great product and 100% milled.  The mFGP2 is fantastic with a soft feel similar to the z3c.  PCB is a great looking head with a "bit" of a firmer feel.  Thanks for reaching out.  Will be looking for your email or feel free to call us at 615-435-8015.

Big Seemore fan here as I have both the si3 and si5. I preferred the si5 until the Rosemark grip wore out. I tried several replacement grips and it’s not quite been right. As a result, it’s currently on loan in a buddies bag.

I tried a Directed Force Reno and a Odyssey Backstyke Toe Up #7. The Odyssey had most recently been in my bag and I nearly pulled the trigger on a newer DF a few times. I believe the lie balanced / low torque tech is real and that tech is in those putters.

I’m not a great putter and had been in the fence in regards to getting a more forgiving Seemore.

In my view, the Seemore RST tech is fantastic. If one uses the RST they way it’s designed, it improves both setup and stroke. That stated, the si3 and si5 are not the most forgiving putters I’ve tried.

Well, I finally grabbed a more forgiving Seemore from the BST. 33.5” Mini Giant Deep Flange Black / Stealth RST 68* w/95g Seemore oversized grip and 30g weight plug.

It showed up Thursday and I had no opportunity to roll it before my Saturday round. I had hoped to arrive early, roll the Seemore on the practice green for a while but I 100% believed the Odyssey would be in the bag for the round.

I didn’t make it out early enough but I hit the Mini well enough on those 4-5 attempts on the practice green so I left both putters in the bag for the round.

I get to hole #1 and decided to use the Mini.  One putted knocking it in from about 12 ft out. Then one putted #2 knocking it in from about 20 ft. Went out on front 9 and totaled 11 putts. One putted the first four holes. Zero three putts.

Not quite as solid on the back but still managed only 16 putts. First round in and it’s my best putting round ever and it wasn’t even close (27 total putts)

I normally don’t like these kind of posts as they make things seem like miracle products. It’s only one round but ……… better than solid for me thus far. Can’t wait to see how long it holds up.
