1. I don't know if it's mic positioning or what, but I don't remember ever being able to hear marshals constantly scold a gallery like they have this week.

 

2. Dude, enough with the Fed Ex cup updates.

 

The marshals were absolutely horrible at the tournament. They were total nazis, kept yelling at people.

I have a question about the 5th hole. Herman missed his tee shot to the right and the area was marked as a lateral water hazard even though it seemed like a very dry area with shrubs and big trees. I couldn't see any water on that side of the fairway. Even the PGA Tour play-by-play says he hits his shot into tree outline rather than water. I'm just wondering if there really was water in there or had they just marked it as a LWH rather than OB or no stakes at all.

 

Any help is appreciated!

They get authority one week a year and it goes straight to their head. I see it at every tournament I go to.

Phil gives the best, most thoughtful, Most genuine answers about his mindset and what he was trying to Get out if his play then Anybody. Which is part of the Reason I've gone full 180 on him. The Early years, deer in headlights lookin' Frat boy with the popped collar and trophy wife all Seemed pretty unlikable, but I was wrong,about all of it. and it's interviews like that one, self effacing honesty and real insight that have shaped my appreciation and fandom. It sure beats "took one shot at a time" "I Holed a few putts" "just trying Not to get ahead of myself" "thanks Roger" Shtick most of these yahoo's offer up. Even when Tiger or Rory or Jordan give an interview, it's get a beer time. Because You could Mute the TV and fill it what you think They're saying and get it about 80% right. That's not a criticism of them, this is a compliment to Phil.
