My Scottish/Canadian grandmother had a wicked sense of humor. Of her 10 grandchildren I was her favorite. NJBF is just like me and what Mrs. Helen McIntosh Lucas would describe as a True Corker. 💥😃

Those who officially track that kind of stuff have said the color change in Asheville during the fall of 2022 was the best it's been in over a decade. I believe their statement to be true. For three weeks now I have been surrounded by such amazing brilliance.

We did a New England fall tour with friends a few years ago. Everyone said it was not a very good year but we had a great time and I snapped this along the road somewhere in Vermont. Looks like a perfect trout stream to me. Some nice subtle color too.

We took a motorcycle trip out east back in 95 and New Hampshire and Vermont were our two favorite states for scenery.

I don’t partake. It’s just my preference. I have no judgement about those who do. I play golf with a guy who lights up throughout the round. Since we have a little game going, help yourself! 🙂 It’s legal in AZ.

 

I do have a problem with people driving while baked.

 

This guy was born under a lucky star. He was popped for “felony DWI” because he blew 0.19, was doing 70 in a 40 zone and had his 10 year old daughter in the car. That’s a mandatory 30 day (minimum) jail sentence, suspended license for 6 months and a breath lock on the ignition for one year in AZ.

 

The state attorneys office is so incompetent that they missed the deadline to file over a thousand cases to the circuit court. His case was dropped, along with all the others.

 

He never heard a word about it.

 

He gets fired from every job, but the next job always pays more. The more he gets fired, the more money he makes.

 

He inherited a nice house in Scottsdale free and clear from his mother. The only thing I’ve ever inherited was male pattern baldness. But that’s fine, I’m happy for people who have those things.

 

But, he’s one lucky guy!

back to club hoing again. I think I hear UPS at the door................................😀

So there was a little incident at the Grille today. Gus let the girls make a desert. Cyndee had been watching lots of home cooking shows on TV and saw a jello kind of thing that she thought she would try. Tammy said that a Bundt cake pan would work for a nice jello mold. They mixed it all up and put it in the fridge. They were quite proud of how it turned out. Trouble was no one wanted to try it and feelings were hurt. They just did not understand. Finally Gus blurted out that it looked exactly like the pictures his gastroenterologist had taken of his colonoscopy. Well that did it. Cyndee was last seen going out the service entrance to toss it into the dumpster.

The only reason I do it is when my back starts spazing out. That is the only time I do it and lately I have not had to do so. Overall the CBD seems to be helping there and it does not make me high or sleepy if I take small doses.

I can see the end of the bathroom rebuild finally. Only working when time allowed and needing more breaks for the more physical stuff it will be about 3 weeks if I get it done by this Sat as planned.

Lost a week to the dreaded procedure and a trip to Turks and Caicos, so all in all not terrible.

BUT this has proved to me that I no longer want to deal with this level of home repair, I have said it before but this time it had been really painful to get though it.

Looking at all of @touch golfing pictures makes me long for some more golf instead of extra work. 

We figure with all the materials and other tools etc. I either could not find or just too lazy to dig for, it will be about $1,800 all in for a job that would have easily been over $10,000 if contracted out.

I played with one of our assistant pros (light colored pants) and the assistant superintendent (dark colored pants). Enjoy the photos from this afternoon gentlemen. I took an extra amount today because I was playing with two excellent players. No that is not a ball in front of him. That is a white tee marker. The tee markers at BFCC are small logs with their ends painted either gold, white, green, blue, or red.  The tee marker for his gold tees was behind his left ankle looking at it from this angle.

Very observant of you Sol. 

The approach shot one #1 (first photo) does have a nice backdrop.
