You heard it here first: Tomorrow Phil is going to get caught and passed.

I just saw a phat chick roller blading down the street wearin a swim suit..... Looked like a raisin stuffed in a bikini on ice skates.

Looks like yet another British Open where your chances of winning were decided on Monday...

True to a degree, but half the field had that advantage. Not quite black and white, part of the charm of the Open to me

There are lots of charming aspects to the British Open (an event I've been fortunate enough to attend), however the regularity with which ~half the field has almost no chance to win because of their tee time is not one of those...

its not supposed to be charming, its a test to determine the best golfer of the year, if you are on wrong side of the draw its just tough luck.

So you think an important factor in determining the best golfer of the year should be the luck of the draw?

Do you propose playing the Open in a vacuum going forward?

Is the every week NBC golf theme the same one they used for the us open? Cause it is bothering me that they have the same theme song for the British but with a bagpipe.

Will they use the same basic theme for Rio? With Samba drums?

Let's change to a shotgun start, that should be fair? Might need to reduce the field size a bit.. turn it into an invitational. Change the name to The Invitational Championship. Has a nice ring...

Another Open Championship decided by the draw. This year, its late/early.

In all seriousness though: what does it take for the R&A to stop play? Even if the ball isnt moving on the greens, these are about as unplayable of conditions as you can get.

'Unplayable'?? You're having a laugh right? This is normal Links Golf in Scotland.

I'm not sure how this is in any way responsive to my post. But I hope you feel better for having gotten all of that out of your system...

One thing that could (and should) be done is playing off split tees in the first two rounds. Everyone then tees off within a four or five hour window, instead of someone teeing off at 6:30 AM and the last guy going off 10 hours later.

I get tradition and all of that, but seemingly every year half the field is eliminated just because of the luck of the draw. Its kinda ridiculous. There's only one person under par in the afternoon/evening draw.

The guys on Open Radio a while back said this is some of the worst conditions they've ever seen on a golf course. One speculated this weather the last two or three hours will move the cut line 2 full shots.

The weather is often a factor sometimes it's on the first two days a certain draw will benefit . Other times it's on moving day where the back markers can move through the field if the weather favours them same on final day. Mickelson took advantage of that at Muirfield . To me it's what make The Open intriguing and unique.

its just a bit of wind and a spot of rain. that's why they invented waterproof, brollies and hip flasks

This is crazy. I have a Draftkings lineup with 5/6 who are going to make the cut. McDowell would have made it 6/6. When McDowell finished at +4 I lost hope, as he was T110+ or something. Now he's T72 with a chance to make it to the weekend.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
