I think I am just going to keep buy FI Premiere's off ebay at $40-$45 a clip.

No creasing, absolutely waterproof, wide enough, comfortable, good neutral colors, no annoyance around the ankle, or with the tongue, and extremely durable.

Truth. I am with you and only going to add a black TW71 if they ever release but really even the TW71 are not quite the shoe the FIP's are. IMO the apex shoe in the TW13 Free evolution...just the best.

Yeah my whites and blacks have been worn a lot and they still look great. Hands down my favorite shoe. I still want to get my hands on the fruity pebbles chukkas but i'm not paying 70+ when they are being bought for 25 at BCF.

Curious: While wearing the LCVs in the cart, they fit fine in my normal size. I walked 18 yesterday for the first time in forever and my toes were touching the top of the shoe. Swelling of the feet? Should I go up a half size?

Did it bother you or hurt? I would try the half size up on first, the LCVs slip in the heel if they're too big.

The fit snugly when I put them on. Not uncomfortable, but when I was done, my dogs were barking! My longest toe was touching the top of the shoe. I was fearful of them slipping while walking or during the swing.

I dunno, it's a tough call. Any way you can try them on? I'd go up half a size if your feet hurt after the round - they shouldn't as these shoes are pretty comfortable in general. These were TTS for me in my normal Nike size, but they definitely run narrow in the toes which causes some people grief. Mine loosened up a little after playing 18.

Not too bad in person. Sole is squishy. Not bad for $99.

I didn't try them on, only felt the sole. Squishy as good. I pressed on it and it returned to it's original shape.

A very simple looking shoe. If I see them on sale later on the road. Definitely will up a pair.

How are everyone's Lunar Command 2's holding up? My concern is the material on the toe box is too flexible and will begin creasing in multiple areas over the ends of the toes...

The best way to keep out the creases is to either not buy them or not wear them. Seriously, it's a shoe; what do you expect?

Looks like Rory's wearing the new Black/Laser Orange LCV's today at the Scottish Open. His seem to look a tad different though. Don't see the big "bow tie" on the sides like the retail version on NDC.

I'll make a broad statement and say that the Nike Golf shoe company has spiraled downhill since the Lunar Controls. These new shoes JUST SUCK. Sorry. I was a huge fan of their lines 2-3 years ago. There's not one shoe in the line-up that I'd even consider lacing up. They are junk.

Calling it the Nike Golf Shoe company is a weird move, and I don't agree with this, but I do think that using mesh (especially on the light colorways) on their premium shoes was a bad idea. If you walk often or play on dusty/non-pristine courses, they get discolored fast.

It's fine to have an opinion and if Nike isn't for you that's fine. As an adult for you to say something JUST SUCKS makes you seem like nothing more than a troll. If you have a legit beef let's hear it, if not just move on. Adidas and Footjoy are still making golf shoes.

While I don't think the newer Nike shoes are junk, I do think they are not quite as "nice" as previous years and the emphasis is on color, flash, and comfort, not stability and durability. Usually comfort means cheaper, more flexible this and that, and those kind of materials break down faster and you end up with a "disposable" type mentality, which means you just buy more shoes at a faster rate. Which is prob what they want in the first place.

Tiger went away from the Free sole and wanted a more firm, stable shoe. Which was at the time a totally different direction that Nike Golf Shoes seemed to be heading down....just my 2 cents...

The most recent iterations of Lunars are just Dick's Sporting good fare. The rest are so junky, they aren't worth a half-off sale.

The old LCs were some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn on the course (i must have owned 6 pairs), and that's coming from a guy that walks 90% of his rounds. I'm not sure whey they've gone the cheapo route. It seemed to happen about the same time as they started to look to get out of the club business.

I'll stand by my comment, though. I've tried their new models and they suck compared to previous iterations and other models in the market. It makes me sad to say that, but it's true. If there's no quality loyalty by Nike to its customers, there's no reason for me to stand by the brand and say nice things about it. The new LCs are cheap plastic compared to models two years ago.

I've reluctantly moved to Adidas. Went with the Adipower Sport Boost and a pair of the Tour Boa Boosts. One is much cheaper than the LCs and one is more expensive. Both are much better construction (even the Sports) and just as comfy. The Tour Boas are what I'd describe as a more traditional golf shoe that will probably last for some time, something like what Nike used to offer.

Bahahahah!!! What a hypocritical comment! The adiboost and tour boost are completely shoddy compared to the original tour boost 360. I STILL have a white and green pair from what, 10 years ago?, and they are way better than any new addidas crap on the shelves now.

Get over yourself and leave the Nike threads. Nike footwear is doing well without you!!

Be an agent of change? Is what Nike is doing with golf shoes not change? They have Flyknit shoes... That is certainly change.

I have premieres, chukkas, and 90s. Love them all. I walk in them, ride in them, they keep me dry, have good traction. Boo durability issues. Haven't tried the models you speak of but I see no reason to think they aren't well made
