Had him as a pick in the WRX contest but may change him out now with the new sticks. That's quite a tweak to deal with.

All looks pretty good. GREAT choice with the T1100 shaft! HZRDUS is the real deal. Looks like Charl followed in Justin Leonards wake to KJUS. Have never tried the stuff but hear it is good.

Kjus ( shooce) is some of the nicest clothing I've ever owned. Glad to see them getting some pros to wear their stuff. I have a bunch of Kjus gear for skiing and some just hanging around town stuff as well. My favorite golf shirt is a Navy blue Kjus shirt. Only problem is that it is CRAZY expensive. I mean eye popping. well worth the investment but be prepared to drop some serious coin.

Why aren't more staffers using the black irons. Black irons matter.

Don't do that man. Please. But most of them don't like black finishes on irons. Shows wear a lot faster.

the pxg darkness don't wear as fast as other black irons. for them to wear you pretty much have to be hitting a lot of sandy balls. the finish is strong with this one.

Thank you Greg for the pictures! Your hard work is appreciated.

Have to say I love the look of the driver, would like to try it. Actually would like to try all the PXG equipment, even though it is a bit too expensive for me. Great looking clubs IMO.

Wow you weren't kidding... upwards of $150 for a polo. Most expensive apparel/setup combo on tour?

If by hokey you mean clever, then I concur.

They've propelled their brand in such a short period of time further than nearly any other OEM. I remember last year there was a thread of which brand would survive the fittest (scratch, Ben Hogan and PXG). Well, we know scratch flopped, BH is so under the radar that I doubt they'll survive the industry and PXG is flourishing. Here it is barely a year later and my college marketing class is using the PXG brand as an example of great marketing tactics.

Xtremely, extreme

An interesting read to anyone that may of missed it:

http://www.golf.com/tour-and-news/billionaire-bob-parsons-shaking-golf-industry

Most notable,

"I did my best to talk him out of it," Nicolette says with a laugh. "I said, ‘Bob, you're a smart guy. The golf industry is tough, it's shrinking. To get market share you're going to have to steal it from another company.’“

I'm really surprised at the move since he was playing well this year with Nike. But, the new clubs seem to be working for him.

Mainly due to the putter; 24* putts per each round. But you gotta give yourself those looks to get low.

That MMProto 2 iron tho... IMO the most aesthetically pleasing Nike iron made. Interesting that he has the more forgiving PXG irons and stuck with a straight blade 2 iron.

Can't help but think that if Nike had left their irons to look more like the MMProto's then they might have become more popular. They MMProto looked so pure without the tacky volt and whatever other colours Nike deem sensible to paint on the back of their clubs.

I agree with this absolutely, they look great looking down in position and the sole resembles my J15's. I think they were/are over priced also, but it's all in the marketing/color schemes etc..which I believe contributes to the pricing.

Does anyone know what happened to him and his Nike deal?

He was fairly tight-lipped in an interview on Sky. He just said that he felt it was time for a change after 9 years with Nike. I got the impression that the split was less than amicable.
