Visited my local Golfsmith in Manhattan Beach, CA this afternoon. Not a single Nike club in sight except for 2 sets of display irons and what was available on the used shelf. Kinda sad really.

My PGA ss refilled their rack sometime in the past couple of days...there's still some out there. Snagged a flex with the limited diamana X, might get another one too. Was never a Nike guy personally, but the Flex is a heck of a driver, it's too bad there won't be anymore of them.

Several angles here. Or, as was said yesterday by a pessimistic announcer, an easy way to terminate a bunch of long-term contracts, and start fresh. Clearly, Tiger and Rory never translated into club sales.........I don't think Nike will be back.......I don't care what they do, FootJoy makes better golf shoes, Nike makes sneakers....

 

Always loved Nike golf shoes. They were the first to successfully produce a very stable lightweight cushioned golf shoe. It's hard to do all three. Most companies, including FJ, have only been able to produce 2 of those 3 characteristics.

It was a promotion they were running for new members (and a small handful of current members) last year. They would double all the cashback you earned for the first year you have the card. The money shows up as a lump sum at the end of the year, so you have to wait for it but still great for the extra money back.

For the discover deals 15% you do need to click through so as far as I know it's one or the other.

And it took golfwrx ers to change their minds.
