I just started picking stuff up a few weeks ago, so the collection isn't anything special yet, but it's a start!

 

 

 

Did you get any putters?

Why's that funny? There's about 4 or 5 for sale right now between eBay and the Lambcrafted BST page on Facebook for decent prices, and I've seen probably 10-15 putters for sale in the last few weeks but none of them had the neck I prefer. Otherwise I would've picked one up in a heartbeat.

Zing. Maybe it depends on whether the monthly putter releases really become a thing and if so how many are up each time.

It’s not as much a zing as a legit question. What will keep Tyson’s putter prices as high as some are speculating (2000 and up) once the novelty wears off? Tour usage? Certainly not yet. Artificial demand created by limiting supply? Yes perhaps, but if enough putters are made then that won’t work. Why buy last months leftovers when you can wait a month and hopefully get what you want. A special event named Lambjam that looks to be a frat party? Maybe for some but I don’t think that will increase secondary prices that much. Sure there will be some high prices for the early adopters as there are in many markets (see the tech world or TaylorMade drivers) but how about long term?

 

By comparison Piretti has tour usage and very nice tour putters that are sold for around 1100-1250 originally. On the secondary market they have brought 500-900. I just do not see how Tyson’s putter prices will be so high a year from now unless he artificially limits supply or has someone like Jordan or Tiger start using his sticks.

Couldn't agree more with newportbeach. I think his putters look great but just overall very disappointed in the customer service I received. Tyson offered me a putter for sale, I accepted and sent him a message, then he said he couldn't sell it and he would auction it off. That auction never happened and that putter was later sold to someone else (who apparently was going through a tough time personally.) I am certainly ok with that but at the same time when I was first offered a price on the putter, I don't think that had happened yet as it was the first time the putter had ever been posted on IG. He apologized, explained who got the putter and said he would make me something for me. I followed up a few times, even was sent pictures of raw putter heads which he said would be mine, and then was never offered a putter and never heard from him again. Sent about 10 messages following up and still never heard anything back. At some point you just have to move on and thats what I have decided to do. I was always taught customer service is the number one priority and crucial to building a brand, business, etc. Without it, its very tough to be successful and unless that aspect of his business improves dramatically, I don't envision a bright future. Definitely not hating on his putters, because I have seen a ton that look amazing, but to be promised over and over again I would get a putter and then to never hear back is frustrating to say the least. I won't ever buy anything Tyson Lamb.

He sold a putter to someone who was having a hard time? lolololol Not making fun of you, because I believe it. I have seen some crazy stuff from the collectors and Tyson, which make ZERO sense... It seems anyway their "collectors" get anything is just complain all the time. Pretty sure this happened with some of the donuts. Release X amount... some complain and moan to Tyson and Tana and they release X amount more. Too funny...

It almost seems as if waiting for Scottys Membership Kit is faster than Tyson making putters. If someone is willing to drop 3-4k here in the states on a Custom whats with all the trips and quantities to Korea... can the Korean market be that big? I think its time to stop making trinkets.

It seems as if everyone except a very small few have had bad experiences. I dealt with Steve when I got my Byron made - great communication, great price, and given the need or want I'd rather deal with them again instead of rolling the dice for a Lamb product.

i don't know how much my putters are worth and i don't really care because of the enjoyment of working with Tyson and Tana to produce them, and then repeated confidence that comes with working with something that is exactly as ordered.

 

hoping more of you get to work with Tyson and Tana.

At what point is head covers, divot tools, ball markers and T-shirt’s get old? It has to get old at one point to see putter sold while not having a chance to do so.

 

I have tried to find a Lamb Putter to no avail, sent a request for information how to acquire one of these putters with negative results.

Go to the "lambcrafted BST" page on Facebook, and put up an ad saying you're looking for a putter. It worked for me. There's also a Bridgeport on eBay.

This isn’t a dig but I am officially done with this brand! I have been trying to get a putter forever. Even tried through santo and after this release and another cart snip I am done. Just not worth it. Tyson’s stuff is great but it isn’t worth the effort anymore.. I wish everyone who supports and works for the brand the best of luck!

Just not worth it. Tysons stuff is great but it isnt worth the effort anymore.. I wish everyone who supports and works for the brand the best of luck!

 

It’s nice stuff but not any more so than Lamont’s and Byron’s IMHO.

i don't want to stir the pot too much with the haters, seeing as though most of you really enjoying egging on anything you can-- but some of you really do make me chuckle. sure you're normal weirdos offline, but on here, you're on a-whole-nother level of debauchery. cool as the cuc when you go out, but as soon as you get home it's like a light switch, and the mac flood limelights shine on your face-- you're a whole new man. idk what i'd do without you honestly.
