Made a quick stop into GG today and was able to compare the i200 to the ie1 side by side. Sole and topline were definitely wider on the i200, but otherwise looked great. Didn't hit the i200, but didn't have any reason to. I love my ie1.

The pics shown don't seem to support that, though pics can be deceiving at times.

Barely look wider than the iBlade.

Gotta be the angles. Either way, their bf % is excessive.

I held them side by side in the flesh and the soles on the i200 were definitely wider than the ie1. I agree, the above pics look a little deceiving. I'll go back today and take some pics.

I forgot to take some photos of the soles of the i200 next to the iE1. But, I held both side by side and, I could be wrong, but they were almost identical in size, if not the same size (sole width, blade length, etc.). Now I definitely could have been distracted bc I was so excited to hit it, but I could not tell a difference in size between the two.. if there is one, it is minuscule. The finish of the i200 (and iBlade) are lighter in color/appearance than the iE1 and that may be giving it the appearance of being a littler bigger.. or maybe it's just the opposite and i'm just dumb..!

Here are some pics comparing i200 vs ie1. I purposely changed the position of each to avoid any angle variances. The difference between the two is very small, but the i200 does look a little thicker on the sole to me. Top line on 2nd viewing looks very close. Could very well be the different finishes playing tricks or even the larger font size on i200 making it appear bigger. Despite the pictures, blade length looked identical to my eye. I'll let you all be the judge. Either way, the i200 looks really good. I wasn't a fan of the iblade look, but I'm loving these.

The sole grinds look different so without someone taking a caliper to these for an accurate measurement it's a pure guessing game.

You will find out that we do a lot of that here......Guessing i mean.

what do you mean not everyone has calipers?

I would like to think of it more as "hypothesizing" than guessing... makes us sound smarter that way

Can the Cushin inserts be ordered in the Project X shafts?

Yes. Can be ordered in any steel shaft Ping offers. I have my iBlades coming with KBS Tour with cushin

I pulled these bounce numbers from Ping's website, 3 irom through PW, comparing i200 to i to my current irons (sorry about the formatting, I tried the best I could):

i200 i i5

3 5° 4° -2°

4 6° 5° -1°

5 7° 6° 1°

6 8° 7° 3°

7 9° 8° 5°

8 10° 9° 7°

9 11.5° 11° 9°

PW 13° 12° 10°

I don't think so. You couldn't get the old rifle shafts with the insert. I think it had to do with the way the shafts were made. I could be wrong, and it could be totally different now.

Anyone else think the reviews on these have just been mediocre? Shiels and crossfield both said good things about them but they weren't all giddy about them. I've watched these guys for so long I can tell when they aren't that excited about a club but want to say good things about it. They acted the same way with the Epic driver, it was like they wanted to be blown away but just weren't.

Shiels results looked pretty good.

I really try to get away from being a Ping homer, but Ping keeps me coming back. Think I'll put these up against the Callaway Apex cf16. Love my G30's, but really want a medium sized iron.

Let me tell you what Wooderson is packin'

That's what I mean just pretty good. But I like it when he acts like he wants to sleep with a club. Makes me want to buy it site unseen.
