Orlando, that's a killer putter you have there. Face mill and finish are awesome. Same question, what finish is that and how is it holding up?

It's a spray on finish original developed for car exteriors but a couple of companies have brought it over for spraying gun parts. This finish is Stingray by a company called Gun Candy. LaMont has started using it on putter heads and you can check out some examples on his Instagram page. I liked it so much I had a local applicator spray another head for me. Supposed to be pretty rugged and maintenance free but time will tell.

Lamont finished a head for me in a Gun Candy 'Java' finish. It's looks amazing in the photographs I've seen. When paintfill is finished I'll be sure to post a few pictures. I've read nothing but good things about the Gun Candy product.

I’m very excited to share the next two putters.

 

The first was a late night eBay find. I saw the welded neck and thought I had something special. Turned out to be a Mann custom from a ways back. Lamont refinished the head in Gun Candy Java, removed 10 grams of weight (currently sits at 370 grams) and added his logo to the sole. He chose the paint-fill and I am smitten. Love me a Mr. B : )

The second is a Mann Super Sport. I was initially looking for a mini, but Lamont sent me a picture of this unfinished head and I loved the shape. A 3/4 head with a wide-body profile at address. I asked for the millling on the bumpers and Lamont chose the face milling (which is stunning in-hand). Blue and gold colours for my alma mater, and four maple leafs to represent each member of the PeanutsFamily. Carbon head has been finished with a clear coat, but I won’t be upset if some rust develops over time.

 

So excited to shaft and grip this handsome beauty.

 

Canadian themed divot tool is a favourite already.

Love this putter. Who's idea was the little cutouts neat the cavity? I've never seen that look on a flange.

Granted I am super biased toward any putter with a T alignment, but this thing is super sick in its subtle awesomeness. If you ever sell this give me first right of refusal lol

It's black polymer. The topline piece is his super nickel. Fully maintenace free stick.

 

I have one of his black ox putters aswell...I never really oiled it ever and it never rusted. Its a great black ox.

Finau shot a top-9 round every one of the four days, including the sixth-best round Sunday.

 

Not sure how that can be considered "losing" a tournament.

 

Are we supposed to presume a three shot lead should always stand up? Expected variations in scoring would suggest otherwise.

He has a few different necks. I'm pretty sure he made a whole bunch of different topline/flange combinations. He showed me 2 or 3 I could choose from before shipping.
