Recently picked up the V Line Fang CH model and am really enjoying it. Surprised this model hasnt gotten more love. I removed the white paintfill from the middle back portion for a little less "busy" look and find this one extremely easy to aim

I was able to pick up the #1 W Slant Neck today. Have been waiting for something like this from Odyssey for a while now. Really good results with it on the demo green.

 

I also putted with the mini Jail-Bird slant neck, for some reason it seemed to sit open at address for me. Great looking putter but didn't have much success with it.

Can you remove the weights on the bottom?

Yes, they are removable. Odyssey sells a weight kit, in my opinion it’s a bit over priced though, $50.

All of these look amazing! I'm just extremely disappointed they aren't making the jailbird mini in LH. Are there any other lefties out there who thought it looked great and were disappointed they couldn't get it?

Just rolled the red 1w slant and red 2 ball fang slant during a PGA Superstore drive-by. Only had a few minutes, but really liked both. Loved the duller sound - no sharp 'ting' like I had with the #7 slant. Definitely seeing a 2 ball slant in my future. That all black version looks fantastic.

I've been looking at the 1W, and I've been told (conflictingly) that it's face balanced, whilst another says it has slight toe hang.

 

Can anyone provide an image of the 1W to show if it has any toe hang?

Don't have a picture but the new 1W with the slant neck definitely has toe hang (I checked). I think the older version with the double bend shaft is face balanced.

Went into the store yesterday with the intention of getting the 3T but it was out of stock. I ended up getting fitted for the 1w. Gamed it today and absolutely love it. Just curious if I should've waited for the 3t. Anyone try it?

I order the 3t without trying it had to find them in a lefty model. I tried it for 2 weeks and didn't seem to get along a well as I would l would like . I returned it for a red # 7 non slant model which I really liked it . Found it more solid and easier to line up and found I was just holing more putts with it. Just my experience.

Its stock, to my knowledge. It was sent to me after I went on then #TheWRX trip to Callaway last year.

 

Maybe the grip is causing it to show more hand than it has.

Not anymore. I remember during the last chat on here they confirmed that is used to be that way in the past, but is now purely a design feature and no indication of toe hang.

I haven't picked up a #1 wide in the O-Works line that is face balanced. They all have a slight toe hang.

I have been playing face balanced putters for a while, years. I never have really ever used Odyssey putters, always Scotty, or Betti, some TM, anyways never really liked the golf ball face material. I tried these o works and ended up getting a couple. The #1 and the 330m. I couldn't decide, so just got both. I am very impressed with the very soft and muted feel and sound, and that the roll is great. The plumbers neck, again never played, but should have been, stability alignment, feel. Can't say enough of how impressed I am.

First post ever, but wanted to thank everyone for the information related to the 7s. I’ve been torn on a new putter for years, and have been wanting to try a mallet for awhile. Ended up getting the red with superstroke on rockbottom for $160 shipped today.

 

Additionally, I was able to try both the 7s and jailbird s. Both are great putters and it is definitely a preference thing and my advice is to test each out if you can. I would close the face of the jailbird a little bit and found myself “pulling” the ball with it as opposed to the 7s. However, both were consistent inside 6 feet.
