wish odyssey would release the 3T o-works putter. i'd buy one if they would release it already. not a fan of the current mallets they have to offer right now. prob see it in the fall or next January

The microhinge face was a major flop for me. Tried a #2 that didn't make it past the putting green and a #7 Tank that made it two rounds and was returned. The face is too soft and inconsistent. It's nearly impossible to hit a ball hard enough on lag putts and had very sporadic results inside of ten feet. Hit 3 balls from 10' and one would come off the face dead, the next would blast by and the third would kind of feel right. Two rounds of this was quite enough. I love Odyssey putters, these...not at all.

I had a very similar experience with the microhinge face. I initially thought the soft feel was fantastic but after a few rounds, I realised that there was very little feedback on whether you struck it brilliantly, fairly or poorly. It's too soft for me. While I feel compelled to roll the Spider Tours when I can get my hands on them, I have gone with the Sigma G Piper 3. From my experience, the Sigma G putters are still on the soft side albeit noticeably harder than the O-Works and the Sigma G's offer more feedback on how good or bad your putt was.

 

That's why Golf is so great. I found the O Works microhinge to be more consistent in every way compared to the Sigma. And I'm a huge Ping guy.

I sincerely apologise if this has already been covered on this thread. What's is the degree of toe hang on the 7s and the 330m? The Taylormade Spider Tour has toe hang of 38* and I am hoping to compare.

I've been playing a 2MCS since August and I absolutely love it. Today was the first truly cold day I've used it on, and I just could not get the ball to the hole. There were some 40 footers that I felt like I hammered that came up 8 feet short.

 

Anyone else experience something like this?

My dad gave me his O-Works #7 since he didn't like it, but it's a little too short for me. It does have a nice feel to it though. Not sure if it would be worth it to lengthen it.

Ya you can get 25g weights. It will cost you $80. The 2ball putter weight kit comes with a 5g & 25g weight. You would have to buy 2 kits to get both 25g weights

Thanks, I thought the weight kit I got with the putter was all the weights they offered. I even emailed Odyssey and asked them and their only reply was to buy a weight kit. I don't think they even read the email I sent. Maybe i'll try taking the counterbalance weight out of the grip first and see how that makes it feel. But thanks again.

I have tried the o-works in my local golf superstore the feeling of the insert is very soft to me and really different . Anyone buy one of these and grow to love it or just could't get use to it and dump it ? The ones I have tried seem lite to me , would adding a counterbalance grip and heavier weights to the head help the feel ? I really like the look of the 3t but have never seen one in person.

I am looking to get mine custom done though. Any ideas / input for colors? I've always been partial to a rich blue / green or yellow combo.

Just picked up a 7s from the used section at GG. Added an extension and new grip. This is my first mallet putter and I'm rolling it on the carpet really well. Pretty sure this is going to knock Scotty out of the starting line up.

I also putted with the mini Jail-Bird slant neck, for some reason it seemed to sit open at address for me. Great looking putter but didn't have much success with it.

I just picked up a 1W and in the 1 day i've used it on my home putting green, i'm really happy with it.... I was worried about going to a this type of putter from the 2-ball, which is why i picked the 1W over the regular #1, and i think its a good stepping stone...
