Honestly the way Nike is dumping shoes to Ross/BCF in colors/styles I paid more for...albeit not MSRP/Retail...I'm just going to not buy ANY 2017 Nike shoes new/on sale and wait until the 2017 stuff shows up in Ross/BCF at blowout prices in early 2018. I thought last summer was a fluke due to Nike's grand equipment exit but this may be the norm going forward.

what he said. why pay retail anymore for hot Nike gear. if these flyknits find their way to BCR for $34, who's to say the max 90 or Vapor Controls wont do the same in another year or so? worth the wait for me.

Metro detroiters just left Burlington at 12 mile and dequinder. They have 1 pair of 10 and 1 pair of 10.5 of the premier for $19.99.

All I saw today was size 9.5, 10, and 11 in Waverley's. I still have yet to see any in mine on size. But, its the first time I have seen any there since the last run

Went to the Milwaukee/Oak Creek Wi BCF and they had both FI Premiers and Flyknits. Most sizes for the FI and at least 5 different sizes for the Flyknits. I picked up the Flyknits in 10.5 (only one available in that size). I dont think I can make the FI colorway works and I have enough golf shoes the way it is.

SoCal alert. BCF at Ontario Mills has the sky blue/black/volt FI Premiers. 9, 11, 11.5, 12 many pairs of each. I took all the 10 and 10.5s. Also took the 10 and 10.5 Flyknit Elites and didn't see anymore of those there.

Spoken to many BCF employees and store managers....it varies with inventory and whatever shows up by the truckload and how fast employees can sort and get them on the sales floor.

The FI Premier and the Flynit Elite is probably one of the most comfortable shoes i have wear. Is kind a like the TW15 but a little more secure. I can walk 36 holes with these shoes. The Air Jordan is not bad either. The air jordan is the best looking of the the three.

How do you feel the Elite fit compared to the TW15? The 15 (and premieres) had a pretty wide toebox, even in the "D" width. The premiere are pretty much the same last as the TW15 and fit similar other than the bootie upper.

 

Do the Elite have a similarly wide toe box? Reason I'm asking is that the TW15 are great, but the LC3, LC4 are pretty much unwearable for me, they just don't fit me width wise, even in wide. I don't have super wide feet, others have similar issues.

 

I may need to resort to eBay for the elites as I don't think I'm gonna get lucky enough to find a size 8 around here.

Is not as wide compare to FIP and TW15. But have no issue with the toe. Is actually just fit perfect, the middle is a little tight compare to FIP and TW15 but thats a good thing.

 

I thought i will never wear the Flyknit because of the looks, but when i try it on, i was like wow, is light and is like wearing nothing. If you try the Adidas climacool is kind a the same fit.

Since they released the "free" line of running shoes with Flyknit I've been saying they need a spikeless version for golf. I had really hoped the TW15 would be close to that but the upper just isn't as nice. It's still a stiff shoe. The free 4.0 Flyknit are some of the most comfy shoes, just throw some of the spikeless outsoles on them and call them a day.

 

Then when the Elite came out, I was excited, then I saw the price tag, absolutely ridiculous. Didn't even bother because I wasn't even considering paying half of retail. Now I need to try to find these for a decent price.

Not really. For me, I don't want 4 pairs of the same golf shoes. I like a little (a lot) of variety and I don't feel the need to buy up every single pair.

 

Anyway, some nice WRXer hooked me up with a pair of the Elites and FI Premieres for cost, so I'm good.

I found a few pairs of the older Lunar Waverly's at Ross that were showing up this time last year. I thought it odd, but I love those so picked a pair of the light gray/red swoosh. Haven't seen any of the current stuff yet up here around me.
