According to Ping, their website is still being redesigned. Amazing that a major company would decrease the functionality of their site while it is being upgraded.

Wish LS Tech wasnt fade bias

Wasn't the G fade-biased as well?

Not sure have only tried the low spin versions. Was just reading the article on main page

LS Tec (8.5 and 10 degrees): Tungtsen is placed more forward than the standard model, shifting center of gravity (CG) toward the face. This reduces spin, and encourages a penetrating flight. It also adds about 3 yards of fade bias.

Yeah, sorry - I meant the G LS. I recall hearing that. Oddly, while my miss is a fade, I have never really run into problems with the LS Tec - I guess we will see!

I think that must be why the LS versions have not worked for me. Just everything wants to go right on me. Will give it a shot tho.

As a Ping fan, the driver & fw's are pretty much a 'shut up and take my money' moment.

Anybody have an idea what apex difference can be expected between the LS and regular? With .5* and 300-400 less RPM I would guess it would be noticeable to the eye. Yay or nay?

Check out today's golfer on YouTube. Lots of tech videos with Marty explaining all the advancements

Too bad he is wrong about the club head size of the driver. How can he make a vid and not know the club head size IS smaller?

I really want the driver with the real deal copper 70x. Since it isn't offered stock can anyone recommend a custom club builder.

The Golf Station, Hurst TX, 817-595-4653. Tim Brantley. The best!

And the plot thickens...

FYI Fairwaygolfusa doesn't show that weight as an option

The slickness of the Alta has me taking a look at stock. The Tour offerings in the G30 last I hit it were very impressive. I used to be in the "Made for" just as good as OEM, but saw the light when I got to test out Matrix Ozik's X-Con 6 a few years back. Hit the "Made for" in the TM RBZ and then the real deal in a much older Cally... whoa what a difference.

Going to give these a real look; hopefully a little more hefty than the M1/2 or Epic which I lose a bit in the backswing.

Rick Shiels Golf review of G400

Thanks for posting link

I was hitting my driver really well this past weekend and thought to myself, maybe I don't need the G400. But after watching this video I'm back to being giddy like a kid about to go get a long awaited toy!!

Too bad all the shops in my area didn't get the woods.

I'm really not too bothered by it either way - we will find out eventually - but can PING not get their s*** together and just put the pertinent info on their website. I'm sure someone there knew about the G400 launch, right?

Anyway, if it's avail in 70x will order a three wood to try. If not, I'll wait until I can buy a cheap head or one with a stock senior shaft for cheap and then put my current fav the attas punch in it.

They are not charging $75 upgrade for a "made for" shaft, are they?

Upgrade cost:

Atmos 350

GD AD 385

Tensei Pro White 370

Oban White 405

So yea... $75 for a "made for" isn't out of the question

That's outrageous - wouldn't all of those be cheaper to just buy the aftermarket new?

Yes. Seems about an extra $10 to buy from Ping. Once you add an adapter on the secondary market Ping comes out about $20 cheaper
