If you're willing to pay, there are typically plenty of tickets to be had just outside of the boundary (can't remember if it's 1000 ft or a 1/2 mile or something away from ANGC) from scalpers. Others have said that you can wait until later in the day and possible get a bargain, but you can also run the risk that someone has already used the ticket to enter 3 times that day and then it's invalid.

RATTS!! I had four for the Wednesday Practice Round last year. Since we got to spend a combined total of two hours actually inside the gates due to bad weather, I thought maybe we would be rewarded with tickets again this year. Nope.!! I believe they have only done that once and it was a Monday that was rained out. Oh well, keep trying.

Anyone heard about a hold being placed on applications with PO Boxes until July 13? My sister won 4 practice round tickets but the system would not let her complete her purchase. She called the ticketing office and they told her to wait until the afternoon of July 13 because all applications that had been selected that had a PO Box instead of a street address had a mandatory hold. I've never heard of this.

I'm not going to lie. It makes me nervous with the payment deadline two days away. This will be my first time to Augusta National. I had tickets in 2005, but then I got deployed to Iraq and couldn't go.
