There were moments that I thought the guy that started the fake PXG and Lidia Ko's parents threads might have been the return of JonesScott.

 

Wasn't there a JonesScott and a JoneScott2 or something like that. I thought it managed to get another profile after being banned?

What is the most recent guy's name? Diekens or Dinkins or something. I saw his PXG and Ko threads got nuked. Is he still around? He didn't last long if not. Obviously he wasn't JonesScott, but shared a similar "posting style".

You ain't lying dude. I remember the threads from when they were going down, and JS certainly provided some great comedy.

 

But, some of the random side conversations and comments unrelated to the OP are hilarious, with the benefit of hindsight. Like someone mentioning Dufner spending more time with his wife. Or, jcorkscrew saying "It seems to me that Tiger has most of his problems off the tee. Once he figures that out, he'll start scaring guys again" on Nov. 20, 2014.

I think Smiter is back under a new username- there's a new poster with stories similar to Smiter. Only he doesn't claim to hit it far. But they both love to golf with their kids, they both worked one year as an assistant pro a long time ago, both carry an old Ping Eye 2 driver in addition to their regular driver, and both of them mention that they used to own a grocery store. And they both write these long, detailed posts. Not sure if I should name the new username in case it's not him.

Oh yes! I'd forgotten about that. That was one of the best ever, without a doubt! It was another of those 1/2 dozen "pros" mixed with ams events and he was looking for another trophy, lol. That was comedy gold.

I remember seeing his avatar and thinking he looked a little delta bravo-ish, but I never paid much attention to his posting (I don't think we posted in the same forums here). A quick use of the search function revealed some gems, he seems like a real piece of work. It felt like every single post of his contains some tour reference. He does have the fanciest profile I've ever seen. He certainly spent some time decorating up that not so humble brag fest.

I might be off on the other one, but I do remember his posting being that of someone whose first language was definitely not English, and he knew WAAAAAY more than everyone else (a great ingredient for an entertaining thread), even though he came to the boards asking for advice about stuff.
