Do any of you all play/live in VA at all or do you just mostly stick to MD courses because that's where most of you are at?

We have guys here who live and play in VA and DC.

 

As to the separate entity, The Hive. . .we try to spread it out. There have been tournaments and outing in VA in the past. Our membership is mostly MD, so we skew that way, but we do try to consider travel times, and fairness to all members and whatnot.

 

The Turkey shoot, the 7s are pretty accessible to DC. The Red Tee this year is a straight shot up 95. I know it can be a pain getting out of DC, but once you're on 95, it's only 25 minutes or so.

 

Stuff out near Frederick is about 1 hour for DC people and Baltimore people.

 

MoCo, HoCo, PG sort of split the difference depending on the course.

Sounds great! I really do not mind driving 60-90 minutes to go play golf, so the locations for Hive events wouldn't bother me at all. Plus I enjoy playing different courses. I'm in Capitol Hill, right by the highway, so I can get to the major roads quickly. I work in Fairfax (I know, I am doing it wrong by living in DC) so when I make it out to play after work, it is out in VA.
