i have 2 shirts for today. one matches my yellow hive hat. the other does not. one was for the round. one was supposed to be for post-round.

Dammit. Also driver starting to straighten out. I took your advice and have only been hitting the big stick. Distance is there and have put some really good swings on the ball but still a tad inconsistent when I go for it. When I swing smooth the fade has been tough to beat. Looking to go low soon once the wedge game comes around. Also those pants were on point at the Hive event.

My parents lived in Hattiesburg, MS where Riley is from after the BP Oil Spill when I was in college. Great golf there and he played at the CCs there. Saw him warming up as a youngster and had an extremely smooth transition of power through the ball. Interested to see how he does. ROLL TIDE

Oh I am aware. I'm more on the 270-275 side depending on the shot, but hopefully as I start practicing the driver more I can increase the accuracy and distance.

I hate DC parking laws. I come out to my car this morning and see two tickets on my windshield for parking too close to a driveway.

From my neighborhood, I pretty much feel like I'm playing 1st Gear Roulette with my life every morning. SUV's and tinted windows on cars make this much worse.

 

I 100% agree with this take. Didnt we all learn in drivers ed you have to park 10 feet from a corner/curb/hydrant?

It's typically -2 feet in the alleyway ahoop and I use to get in and out of our building.

 

Nothing teaches you to get comfortable with the boundaries of your own vehicle like living and driving in the city.

True I forgot about those holes. Just hard to control it right now, so really working on making sure my timing is correct and I finish with a strong rotation through the ball.

Having a driveway is definitely something I didn't understand the value of growing up.

 

I now dream of the day I can admire my driveway from the porch of my 2 bed, 2 bath mansion.

Fun fact about Brandt Snedeker. His brother Haymes used to come to my home course, Kiva Dunes GC, all the time. I played a couple of times with him and witnessed multiple sub-69s from the tips. Great guy and according to him and others he used to beat Brandt a decent amount until Brandt made a huge jump. Happy for Brandt to break the 60 mark.
