i love the look of the LCV2, but I hate the sizing. Why is the 10 too big and the 9.5 too small?

Comparative post for everyone. We know the Tour Premier run small...probably a good 1/2 size from my comparisons to the TW17/71's. Here have been my sizes for reference to help out gents.

 

TW13 8.5D

TW15 8.5D

FI Premier 8.0D

LC4 8.0D

LCV 8.0D

LCV2 8.0W

TW17 8.5D

TW71 8.5D

Tour Premier 8.5D (probably could have went 9.0D)

 

As you can see and as we all know NG sizing is just stupid. Just be cautious and be generous on your size up option for the new Tour Premier as this would be the first shoe in my golfing adult life that I actually could go with a size 9.0D...hope this helps out and remember to SIZE UP in the Premier. Now on to the comparative pics...

 

TP vs TW17's (two samples both 8.5D and you will clearly notice about a 1/2 size difference)

 

TP vs TW71 (both size 8.5D and notice TP still shorter in length)

 

TW71 vs TW17 (Both size 8.5D, just about identical in length maybe a touch longer with the 17's)

I am not sure I can do these. I need to go up 1/2 size, but think I will have heel slippage. They do a bit in this size unless I snug them down really good.

 

I like the look, but here we go with the sizing thing again.....

 

I would exchange, but may just return as much as I like my new Ecco's.

Hmm...9.5 in roshe was real long on me...9.5 in Fi Premiere's fit like a glove. Seems like a 9.5 in the new tour premiere will fit like a glove as well.

 

I am not paying 175 bucks for golf shoes though, no way, no how.

Tour Premier fit is almost identical to Lunar Vaporstorm.

 

FWIW, I have all of them in sz 11 and they are comfortable enough for me to play in them without discomfort, the fit difference is minor and not enough for me to return or exchange size.

 

Ok I’m normally a size 11 in Nikes and I have the LVS in 11.5 and the Flyknit Elite in 11. So extrapolating from your comparison...

 

LCV - size 11

LCV2 - size 10.5W or 11

Tour premier - 11.5

 

Do you find the LCV2 toe box narrower or wider than the Tour Premier or even LCV2?

Received the Tour Premier's today (size 8). Very comfy and cushy shoe - much more so than the TW17 (those were pretty stiff out of the box). Sizing was okay - perhaps was a touch smaller than my other shoes (1/3 size at best), but no reason to size up for me.

 

Going to keep these, but the Flyknit elite's still remain my favorite (feels I'm wearing nothing at all)

Hey can we all standardize how we measure shoes here? Assuming most of us haven’t had our foot measured in >8 years. Ya foot changes. If you haven’t stepped on an actual measure, don’t comment on how a shoe fits. Do research people

Thanks WHC888, I just wanted a "opinion" as I know you go thru the gamut of the Nike offerings.

 

If people would like to know about my foot shape I have a narrow heel with a somewhat wide forefoot, with no real arch. Right foot is close to a 1/2 size bigger than my left. As stated I usually wear I size 11.

 

Most of us would love to go and try or purchase every shoe possible but due to monetary, availability or just life in general don't have the chance. Which is why i asked.

If you know your size you can just buy a pair from Golf Poser. I’m sure they’ll stock them as a Europe (UK) based store.

 

They ship to the states (if located there) pretty fast.

Sizing held true for me, as well. 11.5 in 71's and in the the Premiere's. In some of pics look at where the heel starts, not where the shoe platform starts. Very similar lengths.

Hate when that happens. I normally go with the snugger size as well. After a round or two they normally stretch to the perfect size.

Yeah. It was at the practice round he wore tour premiere. Then the next day wore some Adidas model. Don’t know which one since I don’t know any models they make. Lol.
