Yea I'd give slight preference to Kidd as well. More elevation changes than Lorette. More visually interesting holes. Both are walkable by the way. First couple times I played there I carted, as it just seemed like the thing to do. Last year they were on cart-path only so I said screw it and walked. It was much more enjoyable IMO. Really feels like a walk in the mountains out there.

Both are good, I like others in here prefer kidd slightly, its a bit more stimulating. As solid as both are I do feel like it was a slightly missed opportunity to not build something truly great there.

So far, all I’ve found is that Paradise Canyone will post an update today/tomorrow on their opening, and Lethbrige Country Club is tentatively April 12. Other than that, crickets. Itlooks like a week of double digit temperatures (10-18 degrees) starting April 6, so I’m wondering if the weekend of April 15th we might see the first Calgary courses open. Has anyone heard any updates on possible opening dates?

It looks like they're opening on Friday, and the rate that shows when booking is $106.

The forecast looks hit or miss for the next couple of weeks. This weekend is scorching, but then back down to overnight lows below freezing by the 11th/12th. 

 

First round in 2022: April 18

2021: April 2

2020 (COVID): May 2

2019: March 30

Fox hollow was actually is really good condition. No wet spots. Greens were pretty good! No complaints was great to hit off turf and roll some putts again! 
 

can’t wait to tee it up again soon!!

Today would have been great as the weather is better. I cured the itch and now will wait for my home course. Slow rounds suck and everything would be especially slow I figure. CH should be ready for this coming week
