Can you touch on the decision to move away from the changeable weights in the F8 and F8+ fairways (compared to F7)? Was it to differentiate between the F8 and F8+? What would you suggest for someone wanting to lower launch and spin on the F8 fairway? Does Cobra offer the option to add hotmelt?

Any thoughts on the feasibility/recommendation of a blended iron set with the Forged Tec, Forged Tour, CB, and MB? It would seem the like combo possibilities are endless depending on the player, but not sure if the set would truly flow throughout depending on the hardcore technical specs (offset, topline, etc). As we have seen, this seems to be the trendy thing to do in the equipment realm, so just wondering if your team has put any thought into something like that. Thanks!

It seems like year after year now, Cobra is putting out very high quality, high performing products. However, it seems like when I read the lists of "best" product (say take this year, 2018) most fitters and players seem to always pick Taylormade, Ping, Callaway, etc. Do you think you have a marketing problem, a performance problem, or something else? What will it take to get Cobra as a household name in golf?

As a Cobra equipment user, can you summarize what innovations you see moving forward in one length options, and how will your marketing reflect this possible shift?

When conceptualizing a new line of clubs, do you try and develop something that the other OEM's aren't capitalizing on or producing, or do you stick with what you do well/what has worked for you and continue to build on that?

Can I buy the single length heads and make them stock length? I like the weight of the single length driving iron head and I want that in stock length. I like the colors better too. I am an SMU grad like Bryson. Thanks.

Mustng5, We don't sell individual heads, only full clubs. But one could easily take the head off the MyFly Sleeve and put another shaft into the same head. Obviously your swing weight will go up substantially when you do this, but it's doable. The other way you can get colors is to get creative with some Sharpie's. Tour players and tour reps do that all the time :) - TO

Has the milled driver face been done before? Now that it has been out for a little while, what are the benefits players are seeing?

Not this way, Goldwin machined an entire head from aluminum and then hand polished it. The body was thick walled for durability, that was before thin walled, precise, resilient titanium drivers. We have seen higher average ball speeds, more distance and the serendipitous ball mark for easy hit location ID!! - MY

Welcome guys and happy to see you doing this.

With the LTD, you guys were referencing about negative CG or below everyone else. Is this still something you are continuing to do in your lower spin models or has it kind of gone to the wayside. I haven’t noticed a lot of marketing around that like you did with the LTD.

Also, is the finish on the mb/cbs the same as the forged tec? If not, is it because they are forged/made with different materia and have to be coated differently?

Forever Changing at this point.......

Which specific feature or characteristic of the F8/F8+ would you say most differentiates these drivers from those offered by other manufacturers, and from your older models, and why? Thanks!

The machined face. Never been done... this way. True CNC, remains as cut, no post polishing, adds overall ball speed and distance. See post #3 too. - MY

I really like what your offerings have been, on both, the equipment and apparel, sides. Many people, and especially WRXers (myself included), believe that the Cobra equipment is very underrated by the masses, and don't get the attention of the other major OEMs. Do you see that as and issue, and are there plans to try and expand your exposure and/or tour advertising? Thanks!

where do you see the market for one-length going in the future? do you think that it would be advantageous for beginner golfers to start with one length and move towards progressive length clubs as they improve?

There have been many media tests in the marketplace and they have shown ONE length is good for between 30-50 % of average golfers and this is similar to our findings. In addition to Bryson DeChambeau winning on tour, the are also a few other trying ONE length on other tours, so we don't think a player needs to switch as they get better. We believe that the market will grow, as many players using ONE length have been playing better and with more consistency from our buyers surveys. In fact for golfers >9 handicap, ONE length is very beneficial to add consistency in all facets of iron play. For better players it may take a little longer to get used to, but it is an easier transition than most people think. - TO

Hi, been a Cobra convert since the Fly-Z+, in fact it's still my gamer, nothing has been able to beat it out as far as consistent distance and accuracy. I just got my hands on an F8+ head and can't wait to start hitting it. My question is, is there a big amount of difference in the makeup of the F8+ as compared to the Fly-Z+? Like, should I be playing it at less or more loft than I played the FZ at, is it naturally higher or lower launching/spinning? I've only hit it twice at a golf shop with the stock setup, didn't pay too much attention to the numbers, but the feel is superb!

F8+ will be a little faster due to the thinner CNC Milled face and better aerodynamics from the 360° Aero technology. Flight conditions should be similar from a launch/spin perspective, if the weight, MyFly and shaft setting are similar. - TO
