wow DJ is a hard interview to watch.... I like him..But he just literally stares blankly at you and says nothing.... lol yet i dont think hes dumb..he maybe the smartest guy out there ...

I believe that is called "the Tommy Lee Jones style of interviewing" He is well known for answering questions with one word answers.

He who hits their irons with the most crispiness will win this week. Non world class ball strikers need not apply.

Floyd, Pavin were both pure. Goosen had an off the charts week controlling the ball with his irons. And he could putt.

I like Dufner, Rose, or Speith.

If DJ is on, he could win really big if is smart, patient, defensive.

Rory too.

Hey, and if there arent a lot of drivers hit off the tee and he can shore up his putting, TW is sitting at 5th sg on approaches and 4rth sg around the green. But he is a very long shot.

Also a good chance we have a nail biting, tension powder keg on Sunday and somebady wins because leaders crap out.

Sure they could, they can both dominate if they are "on" If the greens stay firm it will be a high wire act.....I just don't see the course suiting Rory, but if DJ plays like he did last week then he will be REALLY hard to beat.

Tiger's irons have not been consistent enough since his return....however...if everything clicks....at one time he was the best iron player in the world.

what course is considered harder: shinnypoo vs Oakmont?

not a fair comparison really Ive played both and they are both brutal. Oakmont could host a major on 3 weeks notice thats the difference. Their greens are ridiculous year round. Get Richard in here to tell you about their year end tourney crazy stuff. Both super tough in their own way. What they have in common is the amount of trees both courses have removed/lost over the last 30 years.

USO, the most respected tournament on the planet.

For those who refer Tiger as 'Big Cat', it makes you sound so amateurish. Like a 9 yo with a crush.

I'm sorry you're not amped to watch the Big Cat on the prowl.

I enjoy watching Tiger Woods, but he is only a remnant of what he used to be. Maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine any respected golfer using the name big cat when referencing tiger. To me, it just sounds like a somebody with a child like admiration for Tiger. Whatever, if that is what you like.

The Hawk, Light horse, the Shark or Golden Bear are alright though, eh??

Im very fortunate to have some friends in the golf industry who over the years have gotten me on to both. If you get a chance do it for either one. totally worth it. i waited 14-15 years to play at pine valley. 5 years ago i got my chance and only got 7 holes in before thunderstorms!!! never got back since as my buddys uncle who was our in passed away a few years later. Always jump on those chances when you get them, definite bucket list material

Correct me if Im wrong but those nicknames were coined by the media. Big cat has never to my knowledge been uttered by any TV play by play guy or analyst. I think its ridiculous personally but to each their own. Eldricks nickname is Tiger so thats pretty unique in my book.

This course is ripe for someone like louis oesthuizen to make a run. Jordan Spieth even if hes not showing great form the last 3-4 weeks is built for this course. phil might run out of gas by sunday but he will definitely play with a purpose as the NY fans will definitely be in his corner. DJs distance control with the short clubs could really help him. So many stories. Tiger will be willed by the crowd so maybe that keeps him focused and he doesnt have any lulls during his rounds that cost him strokes seemingly every thursday he plays. Cant wait to watch!!

most def, great course, great field, TW longing for that next major/come back win. I'm done with all the bs like EH or CB. the us open should only play great historic venues.

Day wearing his swat team tactical vest today.

Yeah but how tight is it is the real question????

mens medium tight

cant believe thats a real thing

Grown men wearing skinny jeans or pants should be banned.

100% agree, this trend is disturbing....

I just don’t get why grown people would care that much about what other people wear. Unless you’re a designer.

Help me understand.
