Love how it looks. I hope they resolve some of the issues we've been seeing with broken evenflow shafts.

???

I can vouch for the broken shafts... I've seen two of the original Blacks break about 8"-10" from the head under normal usage. Seemed like there was a small step in the non HC versions which is where they were breaking. i did not feel that step on the Smoke yesterday

Not familiar with that saying. What do you mean?

Gotta give this shaft credit. I wasn't really a fan of the original Yellow or Black, but I hit this in the TS3 yesterday and had great success with it. Still Low Launch and spin but the balance point is much nicer and more kick that the original Black.

I found it mid launch and mid/low spin

a perfect combo for me

Black was useless for my swing - yellow great, but sometimes you want a better balance point as you mentioned

really nice shaft

that's good to hear. Smoke is also a cool name and look!

Anyone else been able to compare the TENSEI Orange (S) to the HZRDUS Smoke(6.0)? Yesterday got my hands on the two, I found them similar loading, the best aspect of the HZRDUS Smoke to me.

Anyone?

Is it a fair comparison though since the orange is counterbalanced while the smoke with neutral balance point?

I think these come stock in the new TS gear from Titleist. Anyone know if they'll be legit?

Legit alright. I got fit into this shaft yesterday at titleist centre. Paired with ts3 8.5 head i got best results with the hzrdus smoke 6.5. I previously had the aldila tour green 65x in my 917 d3, and imo the smoke is similar, only its about 5-6 grams lighter.

Feels like it has the best of both worlds to me, a nice amount of kick but seemed to handle anything i could belt at it. I had no problem hitting a high draw or low fades when needed.

I gave the Smoke a go yesterday and it wasn't for me. My fitter took me down to being between the Smoke and Even Flow T1100 but the T1100 won out in the end.

They were both in a 6.0 Flex I wasn't a fan of the feel of the Smoke. I tried them with the Titleist TS3 with everything in neutral. The Smoke I felt like I was having to feel like I was trying to hit a big push to the right to stop it from hooking. To be fair, I have been using a Diamana D+ for the past 5-6 years and the T1100 was probably closer to that than the Smoke so that may have had an impact on it but I just wasn't loving the feel of the Smoke.

From the look of the shaft profiles, it will come down to these two shafts for me as well. I have a couple of aftermarket shafts that I will put titleist surefit adapters on to test with the new TS heads, but have to pick a shaft to buy it with as Titleist doesn't sell heads a la carte. Did the T110 Evenflow feel stiffer to you/load better? Thanks in advance.

Hit the TS2 15* 3w with the 70g 6.0 Smoke shaft. Wasnt on a monitor, but the thing was super nice. Really great feel in my hands. I want to see an 80g version though. Looking at the 70 series on the PX website, that thing weighs 68g raw or something like that. The smoke is a super nice feeling stable option. Well done.

For me the big difference was that with the T1100 I felt like I could go at it without the fear of losing it left, my fitter said that was because the T1100 was stiffer in the tip section than the Smoke.

I felt this shaft was strange. I was not a fan. It could have been the day but felt strange and could not center the ball.

Different shafts for different folks. I was at Titleist fitting event recently and hit the TS3 9.5 with 60X smoke shaft the best. Pretty good numbers at 14* launch angle and 2700rpm. 104mph. But more importantly I was hitting it perfectly straight or with a slight fade in the fade setting (I draw) all other clubs.

I then tried aldila green shaft and hit some bad shots, said I was tired. Then asked to hit smoke one last time and smoked it right down the middle perfectly straight. Going to try it outdoors next to confirm before buying. Was hitting at a net about 100 feet away.

Edit: I couldn't lose it left, which is what I wanted
