I made it all the way to April before everything came crashing down. Replaced my G700 irons with Cobra F9's, picked up some new Mizuno JPX 900 hybrids. This place is such a bad influence and yet I can't stay away.

I'm out. I made it farther than expected, but I made the mistake of hitting the PING G400 LST just for fun. It was way more forgiving than my GBB Alpha 816.

I'm already disqualified. I have not technically bought a new club, but I won a $500 dollar visa gift card in a raffle. 99.99% sure that will go towards a new hybrid and maybe a couple fresh wedges.

No sir, you are still in! Grips and other "work" on clubs, such as loft or lie changes, are not grounds for disqualification.

I was out early because of my hybrid, but my bag hasn't changed in the last few months.

I failed. Swapped my old Callaway Steelhead 4+ (15*) for a Cobra KING F8+ 5-6 wood recently.

I'm still in... but everything is currently on thin ice except for the putter and hybrids... bad stretch over the last couple of weeks... i know it's me... but it's easier to blame the clubs

And I’m out. I’m quite surprised that I lasted this long, but I’ve had a growing itch to change the putter. After a few bad putting displays, the old one has had a proper ‘Basil Fawlty’ talking to, and I’ve bought an odyssey o works 7s.

Last line was pretty true.

Since my original post...only the wedges and hybrid remain.

Changed to the Ping G410 Driver and 3 wood.

Just ordered a G410 Crossover.

Went back to my old Nike VPCs. And then changed the shafts to Modus 120s.

Added a Ping Vault 2.0 putter to the bag.

It’s funny how bad I fail at these WITB challenges.

 

Can we start a mid year version to the end of the year so I can bomb that one too?

I think I'm legal in this, had my 3 wood crack a few weeks back and my driver cracked last week. I replaced both with M3 model. Driver was no big deal, the M3 head performs identical to the M1. The 3 wood really did me in tho, it's so hard to replace a good 3 wood and the stage 2 has been a great friend for the last 6 years.
