Based on the shipping dates etc. sounds like TM hit the jackpot with these things. Tiger really paying off for them. Very cool to see the tiger effect happen again!

Hit the 6 iron when we got in the shop, feels WAY better than the 730 to me and the head is bigger all they way around. Very solid and really good feedback.

Tomo Bystedt said on IG the TW blade lengths are just over 1mm longer than the P730 thru the set. Others have said the grooves extend a bit closer to the toe as well which makes the head appear larger.

Side by side they look a bit bigger all the way around, sole width on TW is thinner, but blade length longer. More grooves on face also if I recall correctly.

How do these feel again compared to the 730. Hit those today and they felt pretty crisp. A little more firm than my MP32s.

Got my set last week. The unboxing was just another box (which I’ve always tossed anyway). Took one swing with the plastic still on and no surprise I’m still way too old for X-100s. So off to my nephew. He now has a set of the 680MBs, and recently got a set of new Muira Baby Blades. First 2 rounds with them 67 and 71. Report is he thinks they feel harder than his 680MBs, which he will probably stick with. Likes both sets better than Baby Blades. His teammates, however, are having a great time playing with the TW blades.

I never had any intention of playing the TW Blades so just ordered them for my nephew. Wanted to experience the box unveiling. “Here I sit broken hearted, tried to $... and only f.....” comes to mind, but not surprising. As of this morning the TW irons probably have 50 rounds on them as he passes them around. Not just his teammates but friends in his apartment. Some aren’t very good but who cares have fun. Will be interested in what they look like in a few months as they are just being passed around in a Ping moon bag.. I did warn him to make sure he got them back from each person and not to let them become a pass around or they might not come back especially as they are new and might fetch a few bucks at a pawn shop?

So. After some calls , hand wringing etc. it looks like nobody is getting a set if it includes x100 shafts , cord grips or a 3 iron until mid June. And they willl not amend an order.

 

 

I had a plan and a backup plan to get a set and both have fallen through. Unless I wait till mid June.

 

One set which was the backup was/is a store stock set allocated to a green grass pro shop that’s been in same location since the 70s. A shop that’s had a TM account since literally day one. This set was ordered almost 4 weeks ago. And is now back ordered until June 13th.

 

Now how do we explain this ? The only explanation is that there aren’t more than 20 sets of these currently in existence. That or some genius thought nobody would order the 3 iron. Either for wall hanger or play. Who doesn’t order the whole set of these ????? But I don’t buy that being the case. Otherwise why not amend the order. Ship the 4-Pw now and then the 3 when it comes in ? Answer. They don’t have any to ship. Two days till release date and they are backordered a month and a half. And yet only 3 sets have arrived to members here. Which has to make up 2/3 of the total sales of these. Hmmmm. Somethings kind of fishy.

Yea, they just don't have much stock is all, the same thing happened with the p730 last year and it wasn't a big release. Never thought I would run into a backordered issue on a blade like p730.

 

The last couple groups who did the TM trips on here and got fitted sets, if you followed along, they all ended up waiting months for their clubs to ship do to out of stock issues. Wedge would show up one day, few weeks later couple irons, month later putter would arrive, lol.
