Top Jr golfer (headed to OK State next year) at my club has a triple diamond head, I haven't hit it but my son has. He said it sounds funny, but feels great. Wasn't any longer than his M3 he said.

I’d love to have access to the parts, tools, and mechanics that NASCAR drivers do. But I don’t race cars professionally sooooo, maybe I’ll survive hitting up JiffyLube regularly and Discount Tire.

3 Diamond is neutral face and Higher spin (we spent like 3 hours in a fitting trying to figure out why the 3 diamond was spinning so much)

Why are most guys on Tour playing triple diamond head if higher spin? It would seem they would require less spin in the driver to combat high swing speeds? Is CG Location further back than other Flash SZ Tour Issue Driver heads? Just curious to understand the difference.

It has higher MOI and better on toe/high on face misses.

1 is close... (slight draw biased compared to other 2, but similar spin numbers to 2)

2 is accurate

3 is not accurate.... HIGHER spin

 

There is also a no diamond version that is the same as a 1 diamond.

There's a video on the NLU youtube where they're in the tour truck and the Callaway guy says the 3 diamond head is a little smaller than the retail version. ??‍♂️

If the pros want higher spin why not use the standard model. Maybe it spins less than the standard epic flash but I can’t imagine there is a need for a model inbetween.

I have also heard that the Triple Diamond Heads will be coming to retail. interesting move.... I guess when every pro is photo'd using it maybe having it available is a good idea.

Can also confirm triple diamond will be released to retail. 450 cc, higher toe, and crown not as rounded. A slightly tweaked cg while claiming to still be relatively high MOI. To be released later this month.

I read that brochure and no clue what that means. Except it sounds like this is what the pros wanted and we are now releasing it to the public. I guess optimize CG for more control means more forgiving than the regular sz?
