I know I was watching it. It was meant to be interpreted as how the f*** did that happen...I hate the rules of golf.

Ian Poulter would never be shorter than David Toms at 272 yards. So with Blades claimed average at 250 yards, Poults would likely be at least 22-30 yards longer than Blades claimed. And that’s huge distance back in those days and these days.

Same guy early complained about the leaders not being on .com coverage and the Phil Poulter groups being on. He said to let him know when Phil was leading. Well Phil Mickelson and Ian Poulter are now tied for the lead at the Masters.

265 was good for the same distance placement sure, but that's talking about 43 year old Poulter. In 2001 Poulter's 285 distance was good enough for 35th place which would be 275 in 1997. A good 10 yards, but too often exaggerated. Anyway, back to golf!
