I think the coverage has been really good so far. Not many commercials, not a lot of yaking, and great aero shots. Especially like the shots of the rich peoples docks that take half a day to get to their boat.

Have really enjoyed the first three days and a little disappointed that I'll be watching the last round on tape delay (hey, playing takes priority over watching). Fox's coverage has been kind of a mixed bag imo -- I was not excited that Joe Buck came on for the weekend but I thought he did better than last year. The lack of commercials has been great. So more good than bad. The course has been fantastic, it is great seeing them play a course where you can score but on any given hole if a shot is placed poorly or attention lapses it's easy to make bogey or even double.

Even though Jin Young Ko and Minjee Lee have been terrific this year; they haven't done enough to justify the title of Dominant Players.

This Open won't do anything to settle the score.

Nevertheless, whoever emerges from the final round between Jin Young, Minjee, Lucky 6, Sei Young, Lexi or Jessica will shine new light into that determination.

I don't prefer the Jokers from Oz....but this current cast are brutal and boring.

Tough to pick a winner today....without rough and to no one's surprise...it will be a putting contest today.

IMO...difficult to pick a winner...going all the way down to T9 with the 54 hole leader board....I'm unfortunately eliminating Jaye Marie, Higa, Lopez and Madsen out of the mix to hold the title.

Would not shock me if a 1st time winner holds the trophy.

 

Is Diana Murphy on site?....hopefully the bartender cut her off at 11am...otherwise expect a "Bethany Lang" moment later today.

It also shows how little money there is to be made in broadcasting women's golf.

 

LPGA really doesn't have much leverage at negotiating their TV deal ( in US ) .
