It appears that the length, greens, and pin positions are the main defense. With the cut at +3, and only 24 players under par, I'd say it's working pretty good.

You're entitled to your opinion of course as I'm entitled to mine. I made zero statements other than to say that there isn't a penalty for missing a fairway. Lexi and Ayria were easily 50 yards off the fairway and the ball was perched up nicely.
